XGIMI has opened pre-orders for the XGIMI HORIZON 30 Series, a new line of 4K laser projectors first previewed at IFA 2026. The series comes in three models — HORIZON 30 Pro, HORIZON 30 Max and HORIZON 30 Ultra Max — sharing an RGB Triple Laser light source, 4K 120Hz and a Dual Intelligent Iris System, and differing mainly in brightness and native contrast.
XGIMI HORIZON 30 Series: Picture Perfect, Day or Night
Powered by the RGB Triple Laser light source, the XGIMI HORIZON 30 Series reaches up to 6,000 ISO lumens, aimed at keeping a bright, vibrant picture for afternoon sports, weekend gaming or everyday TV. In darker rooms, native contrast of up to 10,000:1 is meant to add depth and shadow detail for movies and cinematic content. The Dual Intelligent Iris System automatically adjusts light as scenes change, while XGIMI’s X-Master Red Ring Lens aims to keep the picture crisp, and Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and IMAX Enhanced round out the format support. It’s the same picture-quality playbook XGIMI used on its Aura 3 Max ultra-short-throw laser TV, now brought to a more conventional long-throw projector format.

4K 120Hz Across the Board
While high refresh rates are typically associated with gaming, XGIMI is positioning 4K 120Hz across the whole HORIZON 30 Series for everyday entertainment — from live sports to fast-paced film action. The series can also display cinema’s native 24fps content evenly at 120Hz, aiming to preserve smooth, natural motion, while VRR, ALLM and AMD FreeSync support keep the same screen ready for lower-latency gaming.
Flexible Placement, Automatic Setup
An integrated stand tilts and rotates, while optical zoom and lens shift give more freedom to position the picture without placing the projector directly in front of the screen. Lens Memory can store up to five custom setups, and XGIMI’s Intelligent Screen Adaptation technology handles much of the calibration automatically. Built-in Google TV brings streaming apps together in one place, and dual 12W Harman Kardon speakers with DTS Virtual:X aim for a more immersive sound stage without separate speakers — useful for anyone setting the projector up casually rather than running it through a dedicated AV receiver.
XGIMI HORIZON 30 Series Model Comparison
The HORIZON 30 Pro offers 4,800 ISO lumens and 8,000:1 native contrast; the HORIZON 30 Max steps up to 5,300 ISO lumens and 9,000:1; and the HORIZON 30 Ultra Max tops the range at 6,000 ISO lumens and 10,000:1. All three share the RGB Triple Laser light source, 4K 120Hz, the Dual Intelligent Iris System and the dual 12W Harman Kardon speaker setup, so the choice between them comes down mainly to how bright and how dark the room needs to perform.
Pricing and Availability
Pre-orders for the XGIMI HORIZON 30 Series are open from 12 to 31 October at XGIMI’s official website, with the HORIZON 30 Pro at €1,999, the HORIZON 30 Max at €2,499 and the HORIZON 30 Ultra Max at €2,999. Open sales begin 1 November at full prices of €2,499, €2,799 and €3,299 respectively. Every pre-order includes a choice of an XGIMI Floor Stand or Ceiling Mount, plus two pairs of 3D glasses, a reasonable incentive given how much the rest of the pricing already undercuts projectors with comparable brightness and contrast figures.
