LG has unveiled the Immersive Quad Suite H7, a flagship configuration within the new LG Sound Suite modular home audio ecosystem. This expandable system centers on the groundbreaking H7 soundbar—the world’s first to incorporate Dolby Atmos FlexConnect technology—allowing truly flexible speaker placement without compromising immersive performance. Paired with four M7 immersive speakers and the optional W7 bass module, the Immersive Quad Suite delivers a full surround experience that can reach up to 13.1.7 channels, making it one of the most ambitious wireless Dolby Atmos setups available.
At the core is the H7 soundbar, a sleek all-in-one unit that functions independently as a 5.1.3-channel system (upmixing to 9.1.6 for Atmos content) with 500W total power. It houses an impressive array of 20 drivers from renowned manufacturer Peerless: eight full-range units (three front-firing, two side-firing, and three up-firing for height effects), four dedicated woofers, and eight passive radiators for robust, integrated bass. Powered by LG’s Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen 3—the same neural engine found in its flagship TVs—the H7 employs advanced features like AI Sound Pro+ for object-based audio separation, AI Room Calibration Pro for acoustic optimization, and Sound Follow (using UWB on compatible devices to dynamically adjust the sweet spot to the listener’s position).

The H7’s minimalist design features precision-crafted aluminum accents, deep black fabric, subtle ambient lighting, and a convenient 1.3-inch front OLED display. Connectivity includes HDMI eARC (with 4K/120Hz passthrough), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, AirPlay 2, Spotify/Tidal Connect, and app control via LG ThinQ.
LG M7 immersive speakers
The “Quad” in Immersive Quad Suite refers to the addition of four M7 immersive speakers, wireless units designed for surround and height duties. Each M7 incorporates a woofer paired with three full-range drivers, supporting Dolby Atmos FlexConnect for precise positioning anywhere in the room. The system intelligently calibrates audio channels based on speaker locations, room acoustics, and listener position—eliminating the need for perfect symmetry or wired runs.
LG W7 bass module
For even deeper low-end extension, the suite can integrate the W7 bass module, equipped with a large 8-inch Peerless woofer capable of reaching down to around 25-30Hz. This dedicated wireless subwoofer enhances dynamics without relying solely on the H7’s built-in bass.
Dolby Atmos FlexConnect
Dolby Atmos FlexConnect is the standout innovation here: it automatically optimizes the soundstage in real-time, adapting to irregular placements while preserving cinematic immersion. The entire Sound Suite ecosystem offers over 27 configurations, from standalone H7 use to the full Immersive Quad setup (potentially with M5 compact alternatives for smaller spaces). Compatibility extends beyond LG TVs—the H7 acts as the “lead device” for any HDMI eARC-equipped display.
Announced just ahead of CES 2026, where hands-on demos will showcase the system, the LG Immersive Quad Suite H7 represents a significant leap in user-friendly high-end home theater audio. By combining modular wireless expansion, AI-driven processing, and groundbreaking placement flexibility, it challenges traditional AVR-based systems and makes true multichannel Dolby Atmos more accessible than ever. Availability and pricing details are expected to follow the CES reveal in early January 2026.
