LG Electronics has introduced the LG xboom Power 9000, the flagship model of a new xboom Power Series built to turn casual get-togethers into full-scale parties. The lineup launches alongside two smaller siblings, the Power 7000 and Power 5000, giving LG a tiered range of tower-style party speakers aimed squarely at outdoor gatherings and living-room celebrations alike.

A Three-Model Power Series

The LG xboom Power 9000 tops the new range with 440 watts of output, followed by the Power 7000 at 340 watts and the Power 5000 at 260 watts, giving buyers a choice of scale depending on room size or venue. All three models share the same design language and feature set, with the flagship model aimed at larger outdoor events where headroom and low-end extension matter most. LG positions the series as a direct answer to the growing demand for portable speakers that can credibly replace a small PA system at a backyard party or block celebration, and each model in the range is built around the same modular control layout and carry handles for easier transport between venues.

Beyond raw output, the LG xboom Power 9000 leans heavily on software features built around LG’s AI Karaoke Master mode, which is designed to shape vocals and backing tracks for group singing sessions without external mixing gear. It’s paired with AI Sound, a room-adaptive tuning system, and Space Calibration Pro, which analyzes the surrounding environment to optimize frequency response on the fly. The speaker also supports Auracast broadcast audio, LG’s implementation of the Bluetooth LE Audio standard that lets multiple compatible speakers or headphones sync to the same stream — useful for spreading sound across a larger outdoor space or linking several units together for a bigger, more immersive party setup.

“With the xboom Power Series, we wanted to create speakers that don’t just play loud, but adapt intelligently to how and where people are celebrating,” said Lee Jeong-seok, head of LG’s Audio/Video Business Unit. The emphasis on AI-driven calibration and karaoke functionality signals LG’s push to differentiate its new flagship from more conventional Bluetooth party speakers, a category that has grown crowded as manufacturers chase louder, smarter outdoor audio gear.

LG has not disclosed pricing for the LG xboom Power 9000, noting that availability, pricing and exact model specifications may vary by region. The Power Series began rolling out from August 17, 2026, with the Power 9000, Power 7000 and Power 5000 expected to reach markets progressively through local LG distributors.
