CMF Clip Pro marks the first open-ear earbuds from Nothing’s design-led sub-brand, aimed at listeners who want music, podcasts and calls without losing touch with the room around them. Announced today, it pairs a lightweight open-ear shape with proper driver hardware and clip-style wearability, arriving in three colourways: dark grey, light grey and coral.
CMF Clip Pro: built for all-day comfort
Open-ear audio has been gaining ground with people who want to stay aware of their surroundings, whether that’s traffic on a run or a colleague at the next desk, but comfort has been the category’s weak spot. The CMF Clip Pro rests on three contact points thanks to a reworked clip design, spreading pressure evenly so the earbuds stay put through a workday, a commute or a workout.
A slim C-shaped bridge with a flexible titanium wire core flexes to fit different ear shapes, and CMF has used soft, skin-friendly materials throughout. Each earbud weighs just 5.9 grams, and the compact speaker unit sits close to the ear, aiming sound into the canal rather than out into the room.

Open-ear sound with Ultra Bass
Inside each earbud sits a 10.8mm dual-magnet dynamic driver, tuned by CMF for a full, balanced sound with punchy bass and clear vocals and treble. Because open-ear designs naturally leak low-end energy, CMF built a dedicated Ultra Bass technology into it to reinforce bass response while keeping the higher frequencies clean.
The CMF Clip Pro is Hi-Res Audio certified and supports LDAC, AAC and SBC, so wireless listening doesn’t have to mean a quality compromise, even in an open design.
Calls, control and battery life
For calls, the CMF Clip Pro combines Clear Voice Technology, a dedicated Voice Pickup Unit and four HD microphones to filter out background noise in busy environments. A Sound Seal feature further limits sound leakage so music and calls stay private, and the setting can be toggled independently for calls versus playback through the Nothing X app.
Day-to-day control runs through a Smart Dial on the charging case for volume, playback and calls, backed up by physical buttons on the earbuds themselves. Battery life is rated at up to 10 hours per charge and 32.5 hours total with the case, with a 10-minute quick charge good for roughly four more hours. Bluetooth 5.4 allows dual-device connections, and IP54 protection covers dust and light splashes.

Pricing and availability
The CMF Clip Pro goes on sale from 1 September 2026 for €79 (also listed at $99 in some markets, with pre-order pricing already live at $79), through nothing.tech and select retail partners, in dark grey, light grey and coral. For a design competing in the same clip-on open-ear space, it’s worth comparing against rivals such as the Sennheiser Accentum Clip. More information is available at nothing.tech.
