Sennheiser has officially announced the Accentum Clip, a new pair of open-ear true wireless earbuds designed to deliver premium sound without blocking the outside world. Announced on June 18, 2026, the lightweight earbuds target users who want rich Sennheiser audio alongside full situational awareness for daily commutes, workouts, and multitasking.
Situational Awareness Meets Exceptional Sound
Unlike traditional in-ear buds that isolate listeners, the Sennheiser Accentum Clip uses an open-ear design to keep users connected to their surroundings. The earbuds maintain natural ambient awareness while delivering full, rich sound thanks to Sennheiser’s decades of expertise in tuning open headphones.
A 12 mm dynamic driver provides clarity, punchy bass, and smooth treble suitable for extended listening sessions. The Hi-Res Audio Wireless certified earbuds also feature Dynamic EQ, which automatically adjusts tonal balance at lower volumes and prevents distortion at higher levels.
Advanced Wireless Capabilities and Personalization
The Accentum Clip supports Bluetooth 6.0 for fast pairing, stable multipoint connectivity, and independent use of either earbud. It includes SBC and AAC codecs for broad compatibility, plus LDAC support on compatible devices for high-resolution streaming.
Users can further customize their experience through the Sennheiser Smart Control Plus app, which offers a 5-band EQ, shareable presets, and Sound Check guided prompts.
For calls, each earbud features a dual-microphone system with AI noise reduction to ensure clear voice pickup even in noisy environments.
Built for Real Life: Comfort, Durability, and Battery Performance
Weighing just 6.8 grams per earbud, the Accentum Clip feels nearly weightless. A flexible silicone bridge ensures a secure fit across different ear shapes, making them suitable for both casual wear and intense activity.
The earbuds carry an IP54 rating for protection against dust and sweat. Battery life reaches up to 9 hours on a single charge, with the included case providing three additional charges for a total of 36 hours. A 10-minute quick charge via USB-C delivers 2 hours of playback.
Touch controls on the earbuds allow easy access to volume, calls, and music playback, while the design minimizes sound leakage so only the wearer enjoys the audio.
Color your sound
The Sennheiser Accentum Clip comes in Black and Cream color options and ships in zero-plastic, eco-friendly packaging.
Commenting on the launch, Friederike Menking, Product Manager for Accentum Clip, said: “In creating ACCENTUM Clip, we wanted to elevate the standard of acoustic performance that open earbuds have traditionally struggled with. Whether you are tackling productivity, out on your own adventures, or managing the transitions in between, its thoughtful design empowers you to navigate your world without sacrificing the essence of your music.”
The new Sennheiser Accentum Clip positions itself as a strong contender in the growing open-ear wireless earbuds market, combining premium audio performance, modern connectivity, and practical everyday usability.
