At the heart of the MOMENTUM 5 Wireless is the acclaimed 42mm transducer, meticulously manufactured at Sennheiser’s state-of-the-art facility in Tullamore, Ireland. Inspired by the legendary HD 600 series, the drivers deliver full-bodied sound with rich dynamics and powerful bass.
The new model raises the bar with Hi-Res Audio certification and Snapdragon Sound™ technology, supporting Bluetooth audio codecs up to aptX Lossless. Users can further personalize the iconic Sennheiser house sound through the free Smart Control Plus app, which offers an 8-band EQ, custom presets, and an intelligent Sound Personalization engine.

The MOMENTUM 5 Wireless introduces spatial audio with head-tracking, enhanced by day-one firmware updates that unlock Dolby Atmos support for compatible content. This creates a truly immersive listening experience that adapts to head movement.
Noise cancellation sees significant upgrades. The new system is up to three times more effective at reducing voice chatter, thanks to a doubled microphone array (four per side). This results in superior isolation from airplane cabin noise and more natural call quality in transparency mode.
