Nothing has introduced the Headphone (1) Pro, a step up from its debut over-ear model with a triple-driver array, stronger noise cancellation, and a machined aluminum and titanium build tuned in partnership with London’s Metropolis Studios. The Nothing Headphone 1 Pro keeps the brand’s transparent design language while pushing further into genuinely high-end territory, positioning it against established flagships from Apple, Bose, and Sony.
A Triple-Driver Flagship
At the core of the Nothing Headphone 1 Pro is a triple-driver setup: a 40mm dynamic driver, a precision dynamic driver, and a treble-focused xMEMS driver, tuned with Metropolis Studios for Hi-Res Audio certification up to 24-bit/192kHz over USB-C. Active noise cancellation now reaches up to 46dB using ten microphones, with an adaptive mode that adjusts to the environment and how well the ear cups are sealed, alongside a transparency mode for ambient awareness.
Machined Aluminum, Not Just Plastic
The Nothing Headphone 1 Pro moves to a machined aluminum body with titanium alloy arms that Nothing says are 45 percent lighter than the original Headphone (1), paired with dual-layer ear cushions that are 50 percent softer and reworked for glasses wearers. A 9H Panda Glass window adds scratch resistance, while physical controls, a tactile roller for volume, paddle controls for tracks and calls, a customizable button, and a new Flat EQ switch for neutral monitoring, keep everyday use tactile rather than touch-based.
Battery, Software, and the Wider Nothing Lineup
Battery life runs up to 68 hours with ANC off or 30 hours with it on, with a five-minute fast charge good for four hours of playback, and dual-device Bluetooth 6.1 connectivity with AAC, SBC, and LDAC codec support. The Nothing X app adds Personal Sound profiling, five genre-tuned EQ presets, and Dynamic Spatial Audio with head tracking. The Headphone (1) Pro sits above Nothing’s other recent audio launch, the Nothing Ear (3a), as the brand’s new over-ear flagship.

The Nothing Headphone 1 Pro is priced at £349 in the UK and $399 in the US, available in White and Black through Nothing’s own store and select retailers; UK stock was already showing as sold out shortly after launch. Every unit ships with a hardshell case, a 3.5mm audio cable, and a USB-C cable, backed by a 24-month warranty when bought directly from Nothing.
