The Dali Epikore 3 are impressive speakers. On the front side the baffle makes quiet the impression. Top-down you’ll find the planer element, dome tweeter and a 7 inch bass/midrange driver. The beautiful curves make their way to the back. On top, there’s the continuous-flare bass reflex port. Below the connection terminals which offer the possibility to bi-wire or bi-amp the speakers.

Conclusion?
The Dali Epikore 3 is a royal speaker. He communicates with such distinction. Highs are open, refined and soft on the ear. Midrange is transparent, layered and spacious. Bass is rich and reaches 30Hz easily. The bass reflex port provides a slightly firmer and fuller bass. The new 7-inch unit is fast and punchy. Soundstage is unexpectedly large considering the bookshelf format. The possibility of bi-wiring and bi-amping is an asset ! Build quality and finish are superb. Anyone looking for a detailed, yet refined sound profile should put this speaker on their shortlist. Although we would have liked a more reasonable price for the matching stands, together with the Epikore 3 speakers, they form a rock-solid duo.
