HARMAN Luxury Audio Group has officially announced the Revel Performa4 Series, a groundbreaking new lineup of high-performance loudspeakers that represents the most ambitious and technologically advanced collection in Revel’s 30-year history.
Featuring next-generation ceramic composite drivers, a groundbreaking 7th-generation Acoustic Lens Waveguide, and meticulously crafted premium cabinetry, the Performa4 Series promises to deliver music with exceptional purity and fidelity exactly as the artist intended.
The complete series, which includes two floorstanding models, two bookshelf speakers, a dedicated center channel, a powerful subwoofer, and matching floor stands, will make its official public debut at AXPONA 2026, taking place April 10–12 in Chicago, Illinois.
“Science at the Heart of Everything We Do”
“At Revel, science is at the heart of everything we do,” said Jim Garrett, Senior Director of Product Strategy and Planning at HARMAN Luxury Audio.
“The Performa4 series represents the culmination of thousands of hours of research, development, and real-world testing. With our new 7th-generation Acoustic Lens waveguide and advanced DCC and MCC transducers, we’ve raised the bar for what’s possible in this class.”
Thirty Years of Science. One Defining Series.
Since its founding in 1996, Revel has operated from one of the world’s most advanced acoustic research facilities, investing countless hours in listening tests, psychoacoustic research, and sophisticated computer-aided modeling.
The Performa4 Series is the direct result of this relentless pursuit of acoustic excellence. Every element from the new Deep Ceramic Composite (DCC™) and Micro Ceramic Composite (MCC) transducer materials to the refined 7th-generation waveguide geometry and precision crossover networks reflects three decades of continuous scientific refinement.
This new series is both a celebration of Revel’s storied legacy and a bold vision of where acoustic engineering is headed next.
Next-Generation Technology Throughout
At the core of every Performa4 loudspeaker are Revel’s newly developed Deep Ceramic Composite (DCC™) and Micro Ceramic Composite (MCC) drivers. These advanced materials offer exceptional rigidity with significantly reduced mass, resulting in dramatically lower coloration and superior transient response compared to conventional driver technologies.
All woofer and midrange drivers feature newly patented cast aluminum frames, optimized using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for maximum airflow, minimal weight, and reduced resonance. The drivers incorporate inverted surrounds and integrated trim rings, creating a sleek, modern, and uncluttered baffle design.
Central to the performance of the entire series is Revel’s proprietary 7th-generation Acoustic Lens Waveguide. This precision-engineered waveguide seamlessly integrates the 1-inch (25mm) DCC dome tweeter with the midrange driver, delivering superior directivity control, higher efficiency, wider dynamic range, and significantly reduced distortion even at extreme off-axis angles.
The result is a more immersive, natural, and consistent listening experience across a broad listening area.
Refined Industrial Design
Beyond its acoustic advancements, the Performa4 Series showcases a sophisticated, contemporary industrial design that honors Revel’s heritage while embracing modern aesthetics.
All models feature magnetically attached grilles for a clean, fastener-free appearance, elegant polished black accent detailing, and heavily braced cabinet construction for resonance control. The gently curved cabinet sides are wrapped in premium wood veneers, available in luxurious Natural Walnut and Black Walnut finishes.
Every visual detail has been carefully considered to ensure the Performa4 speakers are as beautiful to look at as they are breathtaking to hear.
