Czech loudspeaker manufacturer Xavian has introduced the Unica, the most affordable model in its acclaimed Natura series, promising an exceptional blend of artisanal craftsmanship and organic sound reproduction at an accessible price point.
Named “Unica” for the extraordinary level of handwork invested—uncommon in this class—the new two-way standmount builds on over a decade of refinement from Xavian’s popular Perla and Joy models. It elevates their signature liveliness and natural musicality, positioning the Unica as a compelling gateway into true high-fidelity audio.
A work of art
Entirely handcrafted in the Czech Republic, the Unica features cabinets constructed from 23mm-thick solid oak, shaped by Xavian’s skilled carpenters into smooth, flowing forms that can only be achieved through meticulous manual labor. A modern varnish enhances the oak’s natural grain, delivering a timeless yet contemporary aesthetic.
Custom-designed drivers
At the heart of the Unica are custom-designed AudioBarletta drivers: a 150mm mid-bass unit with a special polypropylene membrane and short-circuiting copper ring, paired with a 26mm impregnated soft-dome tweeter for wide bandwidth. The minimalist crossover employs just five carefully selected Jantzen components, contributing to the speaker’s harmonious and engaging sound signature.
