UniVicoustic has named Captech as its official distribution partner for the Nordic region, a move that brings the brand’s acoustic treatment portfolio to Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway through one of the area’s most established audio and AV distributors. The UniVicoustic Captech partnership pairs UniVicoustic’s design-led acoustic panels with Captech’s existing sales, technical and logistics infrastructure across the Pro Audio, Pro AV and Consumer Audio markets, giving Nordic dealers and installers direct access to a catalogue that already reaches more than 70 countries worldwide.
A Deal Struck at ISE Barcelona 2026
The two companies connected earlier this year at ISE Barcelona 2026, where conversations about the growing Nordic appetite for high-performance acoustic solutions led directly to the new agreement. It follows a similar move earlier this year, when UniVicoustic named Signal as its new distributor in Austria, and confirms a broader European expansion strategy for the brand. For Captech, the deal adds a design-forward acoustic brand to a portfolio that already spans IT, Pro AV, Pro Audio and security solutions. Per Larsen, Vice President and Sales Director at UniVicoustic, said the company was very pleased to partner with Captech and expand its presence in the Nordic market, pointing to Captech’s strong position across the professional audio and AV industries and its local expertise and distribution capabilities.

UniVicoustic Captech: A Nordic Distribution Network
Captech is one of the Nordic region’s leading distributors of IT, Pro AV, Pro Audio and security solutions, and one of the largest computer manufacturers in the Nordics. Formerly known as Exertis Nordics, the company rebranded to Captech in 2026 as part of DCC Technology, alongside sister companies Hammer Distribution, COMM-TEC and Connect Azenn. Headquartered in Mölndal, near Gothenburg, Sweden, Captech runs local operations across Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway, exactly the footprint the UniVicoustic Captech agreement needed to move from a niche specialist import to a properly stocked, locally supported catalogue.

VMT Technology and a Design-Led Portfolio
UniVicoustic brings together the expertise, technologies and manufacturing capabilities of Vicoustic and the United Group under a single global acoustic brand, building on Vicoustic’s experience in acoustic treatment and sound insulation for professional studios, Hi-Fi listening rooms, home cinemas, workplaces and public spaces. Its proprietary VMT technology transforms recycled plastic into acoustic panels finished to resemble natural materials such as wood, concrete, marble and stone, letting installers balance acoustic performance with interior design rather than choosing between the two. Nordic customers get their first proper look at the range on 15 October, when the UniVicoustic Captech showcase takes place at Captech Expo 2026, held at Åby Arena in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Pricing and availability
This is a distribution agreement rather than a single product launch, so there is no retail price attached to the announcement. UniVicoustic’s acoustic panels will become available to professionals and businesses across Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway through Captech’s established sales and dealer network, with the Captech Expo 2026 showcase on 15 October marking the first public opportunity to see the products in the region. Regional pricing for the UniVicoustic Captech rollout will follow through Captech’s usual trade channels once distribution is fully live.
