The new StormAudio ISP Core 16 processor comes with a design based on the award-winning StormAudio ISP MK2 platform. This processor offers a sleek, compact and more accessible option that delivers StormAudio’s signature functionality and performance, all in a 3U chassis.
The StormAudio ISP Core 16 supports up to 16 channels and is capable of decoding all the latest immersive sound formats: Audio-3D, Dolby Atmos, DTS;X Pro. In terms of video, the unit has IMAX Enhanced, HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision on board. The unit is also capable to handle post-processing, including Dirac Live, to optimise any speaker in any room straight of the box.
All functionalities can be easily accessed by extensive control options; iOS and Android remote control apps, an IR remote control handset included, and compatibility with all major home automation providers. The ISP Core boasts an all-new advanced color display on the front panel that allows integrators to troubleshoot HDMI and codec issues directly from the front of the unit. Additionally, this is the first time a StormAudio processor has been available below MSRP €10,000/$12,000 USD (excluding local taxes). The ISP Core will start shipping Q4 2021.
