StormAudio has pulled back the curtain on the StormAudio EVO One, the fully digital immersive AV processor the French audio-technology specialist first teased ahead of CEDIA Expo 2026. Making its global public debut at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver this week, the StormAudio EVO One becomes the brand’s most accessible processor platform to date, engineered for installations that want StormAudio’s reference-level performance without the footprint or cost of the flagship Elite and Core ranges.
A Fully Digital, Field-Upgradeable Platform
Housed in a single 1U chassis, the StormAudio EVO One is purpose-built for systems up to 16 channels and runs on the company’s fourth-generation processing platform. Rather than forcing installers to commit to a fixed channel count at the point of sale, StormAudio lets buyers start with an 8-channel configuration and expand to 12 or 16 channels later in the field.
This modular approach mirrors the upgrade philosophy already found across the Elite, Core and Evo processors, but at a markedly lower entry price.

HDMI 2.1, Dirac Room Correction and AoIP Built In
Connectivity on the StormAudio EVO One centers on HDMI 2.1 for current 4K and 8K video pass-through, alongside StormAudio’s new Advanced Decoder (ADEC) for immersive-format decoding. The processor ships with full Dirac Live, Dirac Bass Control and Dirac Active Room Treatment licenses included rather than offered as paid add-ons, giving integrators the brand’s complete room-correction suite out of the box.
On the networking side, it adds extensive audio-over-IP support, including AES67 and Dante compatibility, positioning it for the increasingly networked, active-loudspeaker installations that custom integrators are designing around today.
An Entry Point Into the StormAudio Ecosystem
StormAudio is pitching the EVO One less as a replacement for its higher-end processors and more as a new on-ramp into the brand’s ecosystem. It gives integrators and enthusiasts the same calibration tools, decoding engine and long-term support structure as the Elite MK3 and Core 16, scaled to smaller or more cost-conscious rooms.
The launch follows StormAudio’s broader push toward fully digital, AoIP-first system design, a direction the company has been building toward since the original Evo processor and the Impulsion 8 amplifier.
For custom integrators, that continuity matters: control-system drivers for Control4, Crestron, Savant, RTI and Nice carry over from the rest of the StormAudio range, so a project built around the EVO One uses the same programming workflow as one built around the Elite MK3.
Pricing and availability
Tentative pricing for the StormAudio EVO One starts at $8,999 for the 8-channel EvoOne-8, with the 12-channel and 16-channel versions expected at $10,999 and $12,999 respectively. StormAudio says full details, along with a confirmed release date, will be revealed at the opening of CEDIA Expo 2026; the processor is being demonstrated at the StormAudio booth (#1752) and throughout the show’s Sound Room 10 cinema demonstration.
