Skullcandy has topped its Crusher line-up with the Crusher 1080 ANC, a wireless headphone that pairs the brand’s signature tactile bass with Sound by Bose audio technology. Where earlier Crusher models leaned almost entirely on bass, the Skullcandy Crusher 1080 ANC is pitched as the most refined headphone the company has built, combining adjustable Crusher Bass with proper active noise cancelling and a wider, more detailed soundstage.
Crusher Bass meets Sound by Bose
The Skullcandy Crusher 1080 ANC keeps the earcup-wheel-adjustable Crusher Bass that defines the series, letting listeners dial the sensory low-end up or down to taste, from the app or directly on the headphone. Layered on top is Sound by Bose, built on Bose WaveForm audio technology and encompassing Bose QuietControl active noise cancelling, Bose TrueSpatial immersive audio and Bose SpeechClarity for calls. Wear Detection automatically pauses playback when the headphones come off, and Bluetooth 5.3 handles the wireless connection.
