Where most active speakers lean on injection-moulded cabinets or MDF veneer, the Qlang M4s is built one pair at a time by its maker, pairing a shallow, living-room-friendly footprint with the kind of DSP-controlled amplification usually reserved for studio monitors.
A Cabinet Carved, Not Assembled
At the core of the Seeflut Audio Qlang M4s is a resonance-optimized enclosure machined from solid beech, reinforced internally by a dense matrix bracing structure designed to keep the cabinet acoustically inert. Each housing is hand-glued, sanded in multiple stages and finished with natural flaxseed oil rather than paint or synthetic waterproofing, while the CNC-cut aluminum trim pieces are sanded, brushed and screen-printed by hand. Founders Edition buyers within an 800km radius of the maker’s German workshop receive personal delivery, setup and room calibration at no extra cost, along with two premium power cords and two XLR interconnects included.
