Graphite Audio has followed up its CLASSIC Isolation Platforms with a complete equipment rack. The Graphite Audio Enso is built as a 100% non-metallic, non-magnetic support structure, extending the brand’s acoustic-polymer approach from single platforms to an entire architectural foundation for a reference system.
Zero Metal, Two Configurations
The core idea behind the Graphite Audio Enso is straightforward: metal parts in a traditional rack store kinetic energy and introduce subtle ringing, so Graphite Audio has removed metal from the support chain entirely. The system ships in two architectures. Enso X is a single-tower configuration built around the brand’s signature X-frame, carried on 4 massive load-bearing pillars. Enso XX doubles the width, connecting two X-frames on 6 pillars for larger component arrays, and can carry structural loads of up to 100kg per platform.

Micro-Veneer Plywood and an Acoustic Sink
The X-frame structure and component platforms are built from the same 0.5mm micro-veneer plywood used in Graphite Audio’s CLASSIC line, chosen for its rigidity combined with broad-band resonance dissipation. For the load-bearing pillars, a different material was required: Graphite Audio identified a specialised engineering polymer with high internal damping, selected specifically to act as an acoustic sink that converts vibration into negligible heat rather than reflecting it back into connected components. Platforms can optionally be upgraded to Graphite Audio’s proprietary ULTRA board, machined from the same acoustic polymer used across the brand’s accessories.
Built to Be Upgraded
Graphite Audio has designed the Enso to evolve rather than sit still. In 2027, the company plans to introduce dedicated spikes machined from its signature proprietary polymer, offered as a direct upgrade path for the rack’s load-bearing pillars. Buyers can also choose from three clearance heights (130/180/230mm) and optional pillar extensions (100/150/200mm), plus a range of RAL/NCS matte and gloss finishes for both frame and platforms, allowing the Enso rack to be tailored to a specific room and system rather than sold as a single fixed configuration.
Pricing and availability
Graphite Audio has not published retail pricing for the Enso; the rack is available to order through the brand’s international dealer network, with configuration (Enso X or Enso XX, clearance height, pillar extensions, and finish) confirmed at the point of order. Full specifications are listed on Graphite Audio’s own product page.
