Graphite Audio Enso: 100% Non-Metallic Rack System Debuts at Warsaw AVS

The Polish accessory specialist unveils its flagship support architecture — zero metal, zero magnetism, and up to 100kg per platform

The Graphite Audio Enso Rack System

Graphite Audio, the Polish specialist in non-metallic isolation accessories, has pulled back the curtain on its most ambitious project yet: the Graphite Audio Enso Rack System. Following the 2023 launch of the brand’s CLASSIC Isolation Platform line, the Enso Rack System is the result of two years of dedicated engineering, and it makes its official world debut at the 2026 Warsaw Audio Video Show this October.

Where the CLASSIC line addressed isolation for individual components, the Graphite Audio Enso Rack System is a complete architectural foundation — and, true to Graphite Audio’s engineering philosophy, it is 100% non-metallic and non-magnetic from top to bottom.

  • Zero Metal, Zero Magnetism
  • Two Architectures: Enso X and Enso XX
  • Plywood Core, Optional Acoustic Polymer
  • A Different Polymer for the Pillars
  • World Debut at Warsaw AVS

Zero Metal, Zero Magnetism

Conventional equipment racks typically rely on metal frames and ceramic bearings, components that can store kinetic energy and introduce subtle ringing into a system. By eliminating metal entirely from the support chain, the Graphite Audio Enso Rack System maintains what the brand describes as a vanishingly low noise floor — a foundation that lets reference electronics perform free of mechanical coloration, delivering the strictly neutral, natural sound Graphite Audio is known for. Founder Szymon Rutkowski has built the company’s entire accessory line, from the IC-35 isolation cones to the CLASSIC platforms, around the same conviction: that metal, ceramic and glass all store and release energy in ways that subtly colour the sound of a system, however well-engineered the rest of the chain may be.

Two Architectures: Enso X and Enso XX

The Graphite Audio Enso Rack System is offered in two configurations to suit systems of any scale. The Enso X is the single-tower version, built around the brand’s signature X-frame and supported by four massive pillars, with frame dimensions of 730 x 730mm. The Enso XX doubles the width to 1335 x 730mm, joining two X-frames on six pillars for larger component arrays. Both versions share identical 550 x 550mm platforms and can carry structural loads of up to 100kg per shelf, enough headroom for even the heaviest reference amplifiers and turntables.

Plywood Core, Optional Acoustic Polymer

The X-frame and component platforms of the Enso are built from the same premium 0.5mm micro-veneer plywood used throughout the CLASSIC range — a high-density composite chosen for its structural rigidity and its effectiveness as a broad-band resonance dissipator. For listeners chasing the last measure of performance, the standard wood platforms can be upgraded to Graphite Audio’s proprietary ULTRA board, machined from the company’s own acoustic polymer and available in Red, Copper, Grey, or Black Matte finishes.

A Different Polymer for the Pillars

Carrying up to 100kg per platform demands more than the acoustic polymer used elsewhere in the Enso’s accessories. For the load-bearing pillars, Graphite Audio turned to a specialised engineering polymer selected for its dimensional stability and high internal damping coefficient. Rather than reflecting vibration back into connected equipment, the material acts as an acoustic sink, converting kinetic energy into negligible heat.

Looking ahead, Graphite Audio plans to extend the Enso Rack System’s upgrade path in 2027 with dedicated spikes machined from its signature proprietary polymer, offering owners a further refinement of the rack’s load-bearing system. It’s a roadmap that mirrors how the brand grew its CLASSIC platforms over time, adding finishes and upgrade tiers rather than replacing the underlying architecture.

World Debut at Warsaw AVS

Visitors to this October’s Warsaw Audio Video Show can hear and see the Graphite Audio Enso Rack System in person across three rooms: the open stand E28 with David Laboga Custom Audio, room Paryż A alongside Lirogon, J.Sikora Turntables, VTL, ZenSati, Everest Audio Labs and Network Acoustics, and room Warszawa A with LampizatOr, KBL Sound and Sveda Audio. Pricing and regional availability for the Graphite Audio Enso Rack System are expected to follow the Warsaw debut; interested buyers can contact their local dealer or visit Graphite Audio’s official website for details.

Publisher

Marco Lisi is the publisher of Best of High End, part of AV Concepts BV. His path into audio started early: as a teenager he was drawn into the world of free radio, presenting shows and living immersed in music every day. In his early twenties he ran his own production studio for five years, creating jingles and commercials — hands-on training in sound design, pro-audio workflows, and critical listening through studio monitors that still shapes how he evaluates gear today. He also spent years DJing in clubs before moving into publishing, first at two earlier online magazines before founding Best of High End. His hi-fi and home cinema passion was inherited from his father, an inveterate system-swapper. Marco's first setup — a confirmation gift — paired AKAI separates with entry-level Bowers & Wilkins speakers, a brand he stayed loyal to for years as his system grew from stereo into full surround and home cinema. Like many enthusiasts, he went through an extended "audiophile" phase chasing the next upgrade, before settling into a more grounded view: gear as a means to enjoy music and film, not an end in itself. Years of critical listening have given him a well-trained ear — the ability to characterize a system or pinpoint a change in the chain quickly and accurately. Just as important, his teaching background (a Belgian "regent" degree in Dutch language) gives him the tools to translate those listening impressions into clear, readable writing.
