The Audio-Technica ATH-M20xSTS is designed to bring professional-quality monitoring and voice capture within reach of streamers and content creators who are just getting started, without asking them to give up the sound Audio-Technica’s M-Series is known for.
M-Series Sound Meets 20 Series Microphone Technology
The Audio-Technica ATH-M20xSTS combines the design of the brand’s best-selling ATH-M20x professional monitor headphone, part of an M-Series that has sold more than two million units worldwide, with the clear microphone technology from Audio-Technica’s acclaimed 20 Series. Wide-bandwidth 40mm CCAW drivers deliver a flat frequency response for accurate monitoring, whether that means catching subtle game-audio cues or checking a mix while recording.
A Boom Mic Built for Clear, Consistent Voice
An integrated AT20 cardioid condenser microphone handles vocal pickup while suppressing unwanted ambient noise, mounted on a flexible but sturdy boom arm that stays close to the mouth regardless of head movement. Flipping the boom arm upward mutes the microphone instantly, a simple physical control that streamers can operate without looking away from their screen. At roughly 230 grams, the Audio-Technica ATH-M20xSTS uses breathable mesh ear cushions to stay comfortable through long sessions.
Plug-and-Play Across PC, Console and Mobile
The Audio-Technica ATH-M20xSTS ships with a detachable cable terminating in a 3.5mm four-pole mini-plug for console use, along with 3.5mm-to-USB Type-A and USB Type-C adapters for straightforward plug-and-play on PCs, Macs and mobile devices. The Audio-Technica ATH-M20xSTS is available from September 1 for €99. In the US, where the model launched slightly earlier, Audio-Technica lists a MAP price of $119.
