British audio specialist ARCAM has officially re-entered the loudspeaker market with the launch of its Radia Series speakers. Announced on February 3, 2026, this six-model lineup—comprising two bookshelf speakers, two floorstanders, a dedicated center channel, and a powered subwoofer—delivers a versatile, high-performance solution for both pure music playback and immersive home cinema systems.
The Radia Series marks a significant milestone for ARCAM, a brand renowned for its electronics heritage spanning 50 years. While the company has historically focused on amplifiers, processors, and digital sources, it draws on past speaker designs like the acclaimed ARCAM Two from 1985 and the Muso models. This return leverages decades of engineering expertise combined with HARMAN’s state-of-the-art research, measurement, and acoustic testing facilities to create a range that matches the performance standards of ARCAM’s award-winning Radia electronics.
Signature Radia aesthetic
The speakers adopt the signature Radia aesthetic, featuring premium Black Walnut wood veneer cabinets accented by subtle yellow detailing that aligns perfectly with the Radia electronics lineup. Magnetically attached grilles ensure a sleek, uninterrupted front baffle, while optional solid aluminum stands are available for the bookshelf models. The design emphasizes elegance and seamless integration into modern living spaces.
At the heart of the Radia Series is a shared driver platform engineered for consistency and precision. All passive models feature a 25mm (1-inch) Deep Ceramic Composite (DCC) aluminum dome tweeter housed in an Acoustic Lens waveguide, which enhances dispersion, phase alignment, and creates a wide, stable stereo image with even coverage across the listening area.
Low- and mid-frequency reproduction comes courtesy of Micro Ceramic Composite (MCC) cone woofers, prized for their stiffness and low mass. The smaller R15, R35, and R35C models employ 130mm (5.25-inch) MCC drivers, while the larger R25 and R45 use 165mm versions. Three-way designs in the floorstanders incorporate dedicated Deep Ceramic Composite (DCC) midrange drivers—130mm in the R35 and 165mm in the R45—for natural, detailed mids.
The subwoofer, the R25B, rounds out the range with a 250mm (10-inch) coated fiber-composite cone driven by a 750-watt digital amplifier, promising deep, controlled bass suitable for 2.1 music setups or full surround configurations.

Arcam’s Anechoic EQ technology
A standout feature is system optimization via ARCAM’s anechoic EQ (AEQ) technology. When paired with the Radia SA35 or SA45 streaming integrated amplifiers—or the forthcoming Radia AV processors and amplifiers—the speakers benefit from automatic fine-tuning that optimizes amplifier output for maximum accuracy and enhanced sound quality. This integration extends to multichannel setups, ensuring cohesive performance across stereo and surround applications.
The speakers are fully compatible with non-ARCAM high-quality electronics, offering broad versatility for custom installations and audiophile systems alike.
Mike Strange, Global Product Line Manager at ARCAM, commented: We are proud to launch the Radia Series loudspeakers. They complement the Radia Series perfectly and, thanks to our talented engineers and HARMAN’s world-class facilities, deliver the same remarkable standard of performance as our electronics. Our new loudspeakers integrate fully with ARCAM amplifiers and AV products, while excelling with any high-quality system.
The Radia Series loudspeakers will make their global debut at ISE 2026 in Barcelona on the HARMAN Luxury Audio booth (2F150). Availability through authorized ARCAM dealers begins in Q2 2026, with products expected in stores by May.
For enthusiasts seeking a unified, high-end audio ecosystem that bridges classic British engineering with modern convenience, the Radia Series positions ARCAM as a compelling full-system provider in the premium hi-fi and home cinema space.
