The Apple HomePod 2nd Generation leans heavily on integration with other Apple hardware: handoff lets a song move from an iPhone to the speaker with a tap, AirPlay handles streaming from a Mac or iPad, and multiple HomePods can be grouped for multi-room playback. It gives access to more than 100 million songs through Apple Music alongside support for other AirPlay-compatible streaming services, and Siri can read messages, answer questions, or control third-party HomeKit accessories entirely by voice.
