Hisense has entered the crowded portable Bluetooth speaker market with a new “Boom” range, and the Hisense FlexBoom is the entry point. Pitched as a grab-and-go companion for trips to the beach, the trail or the backyard, the Hisense FlexBoom pairs a rugged IP67-rated build with up to 20 hours of playback, arriving alongside two larger siblings in the same family.
A Grab-and-Go Speaker With Serious Battery Life

The Hisense FlexBoom delivers 40 watts of power through a two-speaker system with dual passive radiators, tuned for crisp highs and punchy bass. Hisense rates the FlexBoom for up to 20 hours of playback on a single charge, and a 10-minute quick charge is enough for around two hours of listening, with a full charge taking roughly three hours.
Built to Survive the Elements
Like the rest of the Boom range, the Hisense FlexBoom carries an IP67 rating, making it resistant to dust and to submersion in water for around 30 minutes at a time. The rugged design is aimed squarely at listeners who want a speaker that can go from a sandy beach to a rainy campsite without a second thought.
Pairing, Auracast and Hands-Free Calls

Two Hisense FlexBoom units can be linked together for true wireless stereo sound, and the speaker also supports Auracast, letting it broadcast audio to an unlimited number of compatible speakers at once for group listening. A built-in microphone turns the Hisense FlexBoom into a hands-free speakerphone, while Smart EQ modes aim to optimise the sound automatically depending on the setting, whether that’s a shower, a living room or the outdoors.
Part of a Bigger Boom Lineup

The Hisense FlexBoom sits alongside two larger models in the new range: the 70-watt WeBoom, which adds dual built-in subwoofers and doubles as a power bank, and the 180-watt VoyageBoom, which packs twin tweeters, dual woofers and a dedicated subwoofer. “We’ve spent years building products that make movies, music, and shared moments better,” said David Gold, Hisense’s Chief Commercial Officer. “With our new speakers, we’re extending that experience with options designed for everything from everyday listening and weekends outside to hosting a house of friends.”
