Samsung has introduced the Galaxy S26 FE, the newest member of the Galaxy S26 family and the first phone in the lineup to ship with One UI 9 out of the box. First in the lineup with One UI 9
Where past Fan Edition models typically arrived months behind the standard S-series, the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE launches running the latest One UI 9 from day one. Samsung built the phone around a thin, refined design with an Aluminum Alloy frame and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ on both the front and back, backed by an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. It ships in three finishes, Blueberry, Graphite and Pistachio, all built on the same 6.7-inch chassis as its S26 series siblings.
A sharper, more capable camera system
The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE carries an enhanced triple rear camera, led by a 50MP wide sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide lens and an 8MP telephoto camera good for 3x optical zoom and up to 30x digital zoom. A new feature called My FanCam, first seen on Samsung’s latest foldables, automatically tracks a chosen subject and reframes video as the scene moves, turning fast action into social-ready clips with less manual editing. Super Steady with Horizontal Lock keeps handheld footage level during travel or activity, while Nightography continues to handle low-light scenes, and an upgraded 12MP front camera makes group selfies easier to frame.
Galaxy AI experiences that stay a step ahead
Powered by One UI 9, the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE brings a set of context-aware Galaxy AI tools designed to adapt to daily routines. Now Brief, first introduced on the Galaxy S25 series, becomes more personal with customizable briefing cards that users can generate with a simple prompt. Now Nudge expands to more third-party apps, surfacing timely suggestions throughout the day, while Circle to Search with Google now lets users identify multiple objects in a single image. Photo Assist rounds out the camera software, letting owners rewrite images with natural-language prompts and undo changes step by step, and Gemini Omni can turn Gallery photos and clips into polished, ready-to-share videos.
Built to keep up all day
A 4,900mAh battery anchors the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE’s everyday endurance, reaching up to 69 percent charge in around 30 minutes with a 45W adapter. The 6.7-inch AMOLED display runs at up to 120Hz for smoother scrolling and video. Samsung also improved Smart Switch for the transition itself, letting new owners scan a QR code to wirelessly pull over passwords, passkeys, call history and eSIM data from an old Android or iOS device. Long-term support backs it all up: seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates, plus optional Samsung Care+ coverage and a six-month trial of Google AI Pro. It follows the Galaxy Z Fold8 series and Galaxy Watch Ultra2 onto Samsung’s shelves this quarter, rounding out a busier-than-usual release calendar.
