The Galaxy Z Fold8 Watch Ultra2 lineup that Samsung introduced last month has now reached shop floors, with the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Flip8, Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Galaxy Watch9 all available today through carriers, retailers, Samsung.com and Samsung Experience Stores in 106 markets worldwide. Samsung also used the retail milestone to share early sales figures: pre-orders in the Benelux for the new devices are up 7% compared with their predecessors.
Early Demand for the New Foldables
Of those Benelux pre-orders, 39% opted for the new Galaxy Z Fold8 form factor, and within that group, three-quarters chose the 512GB storage variant over smaller capacities. The Galaxy Z Flip8, meanwhile, proved particularly popular in a single colourway: 34% of its pre-orders were placed in Pink. Samsung’s three foldables are sold in Violet Shadow, Lavender and Pink as standard, with additional colour options reserved for Samsung.com. At 201 grams, the standard Galaxy Z Fold8 is the lightest Z Fold Samsung has built, thanks in part to a new Flex Titanium hinge structure designed to keep the crease less visible over time. The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra pushes further with an 8-inch main display, a 5,000mAh battery, 45W charging and a graphite cooling structure, all inside a chassis just 4.1mm thick when unfolded and weighing 215 grams.

Galaxy Z Fold8 Watch Ultra2: The Wearables Join the Shelves
Alongside the phones, the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Galaxy Watch9 are also now shipping. The Watch Ultra2 keeps to a single 47mm titanium case with an 800mAh battery, a display reaching 5,000 nits and IP69K, 10 ATM and EN 13319 certification for serious outdoor use, including a dedicated Trail Run tracking mode. The more mainstream Galaxy Watch9 comes in 40mm and 44mm aluminium cases with a display of up to 3,000 nits, and leans on wellness tools such as Vitals, Heart Health Score, Daily Cardio Load and built-in hearing tests. Both watches run on the Snapdragon Wear Elite platform, rounding out the Galaxy Z Fold8 Watch Ultra2 rollout with a wearable for almost every kind of buyer.
What’s in the Box for New Buyers
Buyers of any new Galaxy Z Series device get six months of Google AI Pro included, worth €131.94 and covering 5TB of cloud storage, an offer Samsung says runs until 1 August 2027. Samsung is also leaning on switching incentives: an updated SmartThings flow lets iOS users scan a QR code to transfer passwords, PINs, call history, accessibility settings and eSIM data to a new Galaxy device, while Quick Share and AirDrop now work with each other for the first time. A new “Warranty and Care” section inside One UI 9 rounds out the Samsung Care+ options for anyone picking up a device this week.
Pricing and Availability
Samsung has not announced new pricing alongside this retail rollout; the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Fold8 and Flip8 were priced at their original unveiling, covered in full in our Galaxy Z Fold8 launch article, while the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Watch9 pricing appears in our Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Watch9 launch article.
