Samsung Electronics has announced today that the Samsung Wallet will be available in the Benelux starting February 7. This user-friendly and secure app allows Galaxy users to store digital keys, boarding passes, ID cards, and other important documents all in one place. Paul Kerkhof, Business Development Manager for Samsung Wallet at Samsung Electronics Benelux, emphasizes the significance of this development: “With Samsung Wallet on our smartphones, we make daily life even easier.”
Smart Access to Essential Documents
Samsung Wallet provides users with one swipe access to their boarding passes, membership cards, and more. One of the most convenient features is Samsung Pass, which securely stores passwords, so users no longer have to remember their login credentials. The launch of Samsung Wallet comes shortly after the introduction of the brand new Galaxy S25 series, packed with smart AI features.
Kerkhof adds: “The fact that Samsung Wallet is now available for Galaxy users in Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands is great news. It saves them a lot of hassle with keys, access tickets, and boarding passes. Your digital life becomes much simpler, and your physical wallet may even be less bulky!”
Innovative Auto-Start Features
One of the standout features of Samsung Wallet is the ability to store digital car keys for specific models from BMW, Mini, Volvo, Polestar, Audi, Kia, and Hyundai. Users can lock and unlock their cars, as well as start the engine, all through their Galaxy smartphone. Additionally, the collaboration with KLM and Air France allows boarding passes and Flying Blue Miles from partner airlines to be stored in Samsung Wallet as well. “No more searching for your keys or boarding pass,” says Kerkhof, who believes in the power of open ecosystems. “Our ambition is to continually expand Samsung Wallet with new local partners and developers. Stay tuned for our announcements!”
Security and Privacy First
When using digital solutions, protecting personal data is crucial. Samsung Wallet is secured by Samsung Knox, a defensive security platform that utilizes fingerprint recognition and encryption of sensitive data. This ensures that only the device owner has access to their wallet. Moreover, particularly sensitive documents are stored in an isolated environment, providing extra protection against potential digital and physical hacking attempts.
With the launch of Samsung Wallet in the Benelux, Samsung sets a new standard in digital convenience and security, enabling users to simplify and organize their lives. The future of personal organization is here, starting with a simple swipe on your Galaxy smartphone.
