The Lineo 5 Duo now lets two electronics be connected at the same time, including the Rivo Plus and the Preciso, without needing a second box or a tangle of extra cables. Each output delivers 5V and 4A, and the two outputs are completely independent, with their own dedicated regulators and filtering so that one connected device cannot interfere with the other.
Built Around a Bigger Transformer
At the heart of the Lineo 5 Duo is an upgraded toroidal transformer, supersized compared with the original Lineo 5 so it can graciously handle even the most demanding listening sessions without coming close to its limits. Volumio pairs it with audio-grade capacitors to ensure the supply handles current with ease, and the whole thing is a true linear power supply rather than a switching design, replacing the external switching PSU that ships with Volumio’s electronics and providing a large reservoir of clean, stable power while minimizing electrical noise.

As with the rest of Volumio’s award-winning lineup, the Lineo 5 Duo is built around an aluminum chassis, a material Volumio favors for its robust, non-magnetic properties and integrated heatsinks for thermal dissipation. The rear panel keeps the two independent DIN-style outputs, a voltage selector and the main IEC power inlet in a single, uncluttered row, in keeping with the minimal styling of the rest of the range.
