Vinnie Rossi has expanded its CANTA series with the CANTA Integrated Amplifier, a new model that brings together the tonal richness of Class A 6SN7 triodes with the effortless control of a high-current MOSFET output stage. The CANTA Integrated Amplifier joins the already-available CANTA Phono Preamplifier, with a CANTA Preamplifier and CANTA Stereo Power Amplifier both set to follow later this month.
It begins with 6SN7 triodes
At the heart of the CANTA Integrated Amplifier is a dual-mono Class A linestage, with one 6SN7 triode per channel used specifically for voltage gain. Simple and direct by design, this stage brings the natural tone, dimensionality and musical expression of triodes to the very first stage of amplification, before the signal ever reaches the output stage.

Where the music meets the loudspeaker
The dual-mono Class AB output stage uses just two precision-matched lateral MOSFETs per rail to deliver 250 watts RMS per channel into 4 ohms (125 watts into 8 ohms), with a deliberately simple output topology. CANTA’s power supply combines power factor correction with a custom switch-mode architecture and Belleson super-regulated outputs, engineered for ultralow noise and stable operation regardless of fluctuations in AC mains conditions.
Sculpted from solid aluminum
The CANTA chassis begins as a solid block of aluminum, precision CNC machined into its final form, then fine bead blasted and anodized. Beyond its clean, seamless appearance, the construction provides excellent shielding, resonance control and thermal management. A front-panel LCD gives access to gain and balance settings per input, Home Theater Bypass and display brightness, while the infrared remote is machined from the same solid aluminum as the amplifier itself.

Built for a growing system
Four line-level inputs are available, with gain selectable per input (LOW, MED or HIGH, from 22dB up to 34dB) and settings stored independently so the amplifier remembers how each source should behave. A 100-step resistor-ladder volume control and 12-step balance adjustment give precise control over the signal, while Home Theater Bypass allows direct integration with an AV processor for music-first systems that also handle movies. Input impedance sits at 20kOhm, with line output impedance under 100 Ohm and speaker output impedance under 0.05 Ohm, figures that point to an amplifier designed to stay out of the way of whatever is connected to it.

Built for a world market
The CANTA Integrated Amplifier accepts 100-264V AC at 50-60Hz, a universal range that covers mains voltages worldwide without a manual voltage switch or external converter. At 16.25 x 12.75 x 2.75 inches (413 x 324 x 70mm) including knobs, jacks and feet, and weighing 22 lb (10kg), it is compact enough for a typical equipment shelf while still housing the dual-mono linestage, output stage and switch-mode power supply.
Pricing and availability
Vinnie Rossi has not yet confirmed pricing or a ship date for the CANTA Integrated Amplifier. It joins the CANTA Phono Preamplifier, which we covered in an earlier article on the CANTA series, as the second model in the lineup to reach a dedicated product page.
