Victrola, the legendary home audio brand with over a century of heritage, has introduced a sophisticated Walnut finish for its acclaimed Wave Turntable and Tempo Bookshelf Speakers. Announced at CES 2026 alongside the new Soundstage soundbase, this refined wood veneer option responds directly to customer demand, bringing a warm, classic aesthetic to two of the brand’s most versatile modern vinyl products.
Originally launched at CES 2025, the Wave and Tempo quickly became favorites for their blend of high-fidelity performance, advanced wireless features, and approachable design. The new Walnut finish enhances their visual appeal, creating cohesive, furniture-friendly setups that integrate seamlessly into contemporary living spaces.
Victrola Wave Turntable: Elevated Vinyl Playback in Timeless Walnut
The Walnut Wave (MSRP $499) marks the first variant in the family to include an Ortofon OM 5E moving magnet cartridge, delivering detailed, accurate reproduction across a wide variety of records. Built on a low-resonance MDF plinth with a precision die-cast aluminum platter and adjustable aluminum tonearm, the Wave ensures clean tracking and minimal vibration.
Wireless versatility remains a standout feature: Bluetooth 5.4 with support for aptX Adaptive and aptX HD codecs provides high-resolution streaming to compatible headphones or speakers. The innovative Auracast Broadcast Audio capability allows vinyl playback to be shared wirelessly with an unlimited number of Auracast-enabled devices – including multiple pairs of Tempo speakers – without apps, Wi-Fi, or additional hardware.
For traditional setups, a built-in switchable phono preamp and RCA outputs offer easy connection to external amplifiers or powered speakers.
Victrola Tempo Bookshelf Speakers: The Perfect Walnut Companion
The Tempo Bookshelf Speakers (MSRP $249 per pair) now available in Walnut create a visually matched system when paired with the Wave. These compact active speakers punch above their size, delivering rich, room-filling sound with modern connectivity.
Bluetooth 5.4 and Auracast support enable seamless streaming and multi-room broadcasting, while a comprehensive array of wired inputs – RCA, 3.5mm AUX, Optical, and USB-C – ensures compatibility with turntables, TVs, computers, and more. A subwoofer output with selectable bass filter allows for further system expansion.
Front-facing illuminated controls add convenience, and optional angled stands optimize listening angles and vibration isolation.
