Each of the three Model S sections combines an AMT (air motion transformer) tweeter — a folded Kapton-foil design the brand describes as light, powerful, clear and open without harshness — with an aluminum mid-range driver. Two custom-made aluminum woofers add the low end: despite being unusually shallow, they use a four-layer voice coil, neodymium magnets and an aluminum basket to deliver high excursion and a punchy, full bass. The whole system is calibrated to the listening room using Steinway Lyngdorf’s RoomPerfect technology.
