German television specialist Loewe has launched the Antares, a new 4K OLED range built around individually calibrated panels and a distinctive, modular design. The Loewe Antares is manufactured and calibrated at Loewe’s Kronach headquarters, and arrives in four screen sizes aimed at buyers who want flagship picture quality wrapped in a television that looks as considered as the image it produces.
Individually calibrated 4K OLED
Every Loewe Antares panel is calibrated by hand in Kronach before it leaves the factory, a process Loewe says delivers deeper black levels, more natural colour and stronger contrast than a standard OLED production line. The set supports the full range of major HDR formats, including Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10+ Adaptive, both of which adjust the picture in real time to match ambient room lighting. Loewe pairs the panel with its os9 smart TV platform, giving direct access to Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, Apple TV+ and Prime Video without an external streaming box.

Dual Channel viewing and next-generation gaming
A dual triple-tuner Dual Channel platform allows the Loewe Antares to record and watch two channels at once, alongside timeshift functions for pausing and rewinding live broadcasts. Gamers are catered for too: HDMI 2.1 connectivity brings 144Hz VRR and ALLM support with low input latency, positioning the Antares as a legitimate option for current-generation consoles and cloud gaming services rather than just film and broadcast content.

Modular design and invisible sound
Where the Loewe Antares distinguishes itself most is its 360-degree design and modular mounting system, with interchangeable onlays, optional smart covers and a choice of table, floor and wall solutions that let the same television adapt to very different interiors. Sound is handled by Loewe’s built-in invisible sound system, which the company says delivers strong performance straight out of the box and can be expanded with the dedicated Loewe soundbar Antares or an external home cinema setup via HDMI eARC, with Dolby Atmos support for film, music and gaming. The approach echoes the display strategy behind sets such as the Hisense RGB Mini-LED television technology, where picture quality is paired with a broader lifestyle-driven design brief.

Made in Germany
Loewe frames the Antares as a statement of its “Made in Germany” positioning, with development, production and individual finishing all taking place at the company’s home site. Full specifications and configuration options are listed on the official Loewe Antares product page.
