Danish loudspeaker brand Jamo has officially announced its most significant product launch in years with the debut of two all-new speaker families: Concert Legacy and Concert Element. Both ranges will make their public debut at High-End Vienna on June 4 and go on sale worldwide in August 2026.
The announcement signals a full-scale return to form for Jamo, blending heritage engineering with contemporary Danish design. Concert Legacy revives and evolves the spirit of the brand’s acclaimed 1990s Concert series, while Concert Element introduces a fresh, lifestyle-oriented approach aimed at modern interiors and a broader audience.
Concert Legacy: Premium Scandinavian Hi-Fi Reborn
Positioned as Jamo’s flagship passive speaker line, Concert Legacy is described as “what the original Concert series would look like today if it had evolved continuously for thirty years.” The range is made in Denmark and benefits from deep Scandinavian partnerships: drivers are developed with Denmark’s Scan-Speak and Norway’s SEAS, while woofers incorporate Finnish wood fibre.
Key engineering features include:
- DualCore architecture that physically isolates midrange and bass chambers for superior clarity at higher volumes.
- Down-firing bass loading for flexible room placement without compromising aesthetics.
- A deliberate balance of composed bass, open midrange, and articulate treble.
The lineup is led by the towering Legacy 11 flagship, joined by the compact floorstanding Legacy 9 and standmount Legacy 8. All models are available in three premium finishes: Onyx, Heritage, and Northern Frost.
Concert Element: Modern Danish Functional Design
Concert Element takes a different direction, developed in partnership with Copenhagen-based studio HarritSørensen. Its signature “circle over rectangle” design makes the circular driver module the visual and acoustic focal point, creating a striking yet minimalist aesthetic that blends into contemporary living spaces.
The range features shallow cabinets, down-firing ports, time-aligned tweeters, and a simplified single-driver-per-range architecture developed with SB Acoustics. Floorstanding models include dual-chamber construction highlighted by an external “Horizon Line.” Removable fabric covers (with optional Gabriel fabrics from Denmark) allow owners to switch between a softer domestic look and a more technical appearance.
The Element family includes the true bookshelf Element 50 (designed to fit standard shelving), Element 70, floorstanding Element 90, and the matching SW10 subwoofer. Finishes are Onyx and Northern Frost.
