FiiO Music App v3.3.4 is now available for Android, bringing a redesigned equaliser and four new playback views to the software that runs on the brand’s phones, tablets and Android-based portable and desktop players. Like most point releases, it is a free, incremental update rather than a ground-up redesign, but it touches enough of the everyday interface — from how the now-playing screen looks to how the EQ behaves — that regular users of the app should notice the difference immediately. It rolls out through the app’s own update check or as a manual install for older devices.
Four New Playback Views
FiiO Music App v3.3.4’s headline change is a choice of four playback layouts, selectable from the Skins section under Playback Interface: Dynamic Vinyl, Background Vinyl and Realistic Vinyl each present the album cover and a virtual spinning record in a different arrangement, while Minimalist Mode strips the screen back to the essential track information and transport controls. FiiO has not detailed the visual differences between the three vinyl layouts beyond the general description, leaving users to try each for themselves and pick whichever suits their home screen or listening habits best.

Redesigned EQ, AUTO EQ and Sharing
Version 3.3.4 also reworks the equaliser interface and introduces AUTO EQ, intended to suggest a usable correction rather than requiring every setting to be built manually from scratch. New EQ profiles can now be shared with other users, and FiiO mentions four further sound-adjustment options without describing their function in detail. Cover artwork and lyrics can now also be shown when local music is controlled remotely, alongside improved matching of online lyrics and artwork to locally stored tracks, and support for the Live Window function on compatible Android phones, which surfaces playback controls and track information in a persistent floating window outside the app itself.

USB Exclusive Mode Fix
On the bug-fix side, FiiO Music App v3.3.4 corrects an issue with USB Exclusive Mode, the setting that lets the app talk to a connected USB DAC directly and bypass Android’s standard audio processing; changes to that setting now take effect immediately instead of requiring a restart or reconnection. FiiO also cites unspecified performance optimisations and further bug fixes without going into detail, which is typical for a point release like this one rather than a major version change.

Pricing and availability
FiiO Music App v3.3.4 is a free update for Android smartphones and tablets and for Android-based FiiO Portable High Resolution Music Players and Desktop Audio Players, including the M, R and S series alongside newer models that ship with their own installation packages; the separate iOS version of the app follows its own numbering and is not part of this release. It can be installed via Settings > About > Check for update, or manually as an APK for devices where the automatic check does not trigger. FiiO’s wider Android-based lineup continues to expand alongside the app itself.
