Elipson has refreshed its subwoofer lineup with the Premium Sub range, designed to succeed the brand’s Prestige Facet series. The range comprises three models — the Premium Sub 10, Premium Sub 12 and Premium Sub 15 — each built around a large-diameter fibreglass driver powered by a controlled Class D amplifier, aimed at both hi-fi and home cinema systems.
A bass-reflex design built to reduce turbulence
Every model in the Premium Sub range uses a bass-reflex cabinet with an internal laminar baffle, a design Elipson says drastically reduces port turbulence for smoother, deeper and more powerful bass. The flagship Premium Sub 15 pairs a massive 380mm (15-inch) fibreglass-cone driver with 650W of Class D amplification, aimed at large rooms and ultra high-end home theatre setups, while still maintaining flawless performance at high volume.

Three sizes for different rooms
The Premium Sub 12 sits at the heart of the range, with a 300mm driver and 500W of amplification for medium to large rooms, and a built-in DSP that boosts the lowest frequencies by +3dB at 28Hz while maintaining linearity elsewhere. The more compact Premium Sub 10 uses a 250mm driver and a 300W amplifier, suited to medium-sized rooms, with its own DSP boost of +3dB at 30Hz. All three models offer phase, crossover and LFE adjustments for integration into stereo or multichannel systems. More details are available via Elipson’s own product pages.

Pricing and availability
The Elipson Premium Sub 10 is priced at €699, the Premium Sub 12 at €899, and the flagship Premium Sub 15 at €1,399. All three models are available now through Elipson dealers.
