Devialet has added a new finish to its Phantom Ultimate 98dB lineup: Pulse Blue, an exclusive edition that joins Gold Leaf, Light Pearl, Deep Forest and Clay Red as a standard colourway option. The Devialet Phantom Ultimate 98dB Pulse Blue is now available for pre-order at €1,700, with an estimated delivery date of 23 September 2026, and it carries a story beyond the finish itself: it was developed in step with Devialet Global Brand Ambassador Isack Hadjar, the French Formula 1 driver, as a pairing the brand describes as “a French brand and a French driver, pursuing excellence together.”
Underneath the new iridescent ring, the Devialet Phantom Ultimate 98dB Pulse Blue is mechanically identical to the rest of the 98dB range, meaning none of the speaker’s signature technology changes with the finish, only the way it catches the light on a shelf or sideboard.
Full-Body Sound in a Compact Form

Devialet’s Analog Digital Hybrid (ADH) amplification sits at the core of the Phantom Ultimate 98dB, combining analog and digital amplification stages to deliver 400 watts of total power while consuming less energy than a purely analog design, with a frequency response extending up to 35kHz. A cospherical full-range driver integrates the midrange and tweeter into a single point source, while Heart Bass Implosion (HBI) technology pairs two synchronized lateral woofers to reach down to 14Hz, deep infra-bass rarely found in a speaker this size. Devialet rates the Phantom Ultimate 98dB at a peak level of 98dB at one metre, rising to 101dB when two units are paired in stereo.
Speaker Active Matching (SAM) software adapts the amplification in real time to the drivers’ transient and steady-state behaviour, while Adaptive Volume Level (AVL) applies dynamic equalization so quiet passages and loud peaks both stay balanced. Audio is processed at 32-bit/96kHz by an NXP iMX8 processor running Devialet’s latest DOS3 operating system.
Streaming, Multiroom and App Control

The Devialet Phantom Ultimate 98dB Pulse Blue supports AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Qobuz Connect, UPnP, Roon Ready and Bluetooth 5.2, and can be paired into a stereo set or a wider multiroom system alongside other Phantom and Devialet speakers already in the home. The Devialet App adds a six-band equalizer, three listening modes for music, movies and podcasts, and extras like Bass Reducer and Night Mode. Four touch controls on the unit itself handle volume, playback and Bluetooth pairing directly, with an LED indicator showing power and connection status.
