ASCENDO Trinnov Christie will present a joint high-performance home cinema demonstration at Audio Advice Live 2026, combining an ASCENDO immersive audio system with dedicated infrasonic bass, Trinnov’s Cylindrical WaveForming room optimization, and Christie’s latest laser projection technology. The showcase, staged in the Magnolia II demo room, builds on last year’s system that won eCoustic’s award for Best Bass Response at the same event.
ASCENDO Trinnov Christie Debut Cylindrical WaveForming
ASCENDO Trinnov Christie are using the demonstration to introduce the next evolution of active room acoustics: Cylindrical WaveForming. Rather than correcting standing waves after they occur, the technology prevents them from developing in the first place, using a floor-level front subwoofer array paired with strategically positioned rear subwoofers. Trinnov says the approach delivers consistent bass response, improved transient accuracy and seat-to-seat uniformity, with less architectural complexity than a traditional planar implementation, and can be deployed with as few as four subwoofers.

A 25 x 25 x 8-Foot Room Built Around ASCENDO Subwoofers
For Audio Advice Live, the Magnolia II demo room pairs Trinnov’s flagship AltitudeCI audio processor and Amplitude16 amplifier, connected via Trinnov’s Dante interface, with an ASCENDO high-performance immersive audio system. Four ASCENDO THE18 SUB PASSIVE VENTED subwoofers line the front wall and two more sit along the rear wall to complete the Cylindrical WaveForming array. ASCENDO’s THE32 infrasub adds the deepest frequencies below the WaveForming array’s operating range, while 13 ASCENDO coaxial point-source speakers, purpose-built for home cinema, aim to create a time-coherent listening experience across every seat rather than a single sweet spot.

Christie’s Korus Projector Handles the Picture
On the visual side, Christie brings its commercial-cinema projection pedigree to the residential space with the Korus 4K1000-KS laser projector, fitted with a 1.25-2.0:1 zoom lens and paired with a 135-inch Stewart Wallscreen Deluxe using Harmony woven material. Built around 0.8-inch HEP DMD technology, the 4K1000-KS is rated at more than 10,000 ISO lumens with 4K UHD+ resolution and accelerated color cycling for accurate, vibrant color. Christie says the projector’s compact, installation-friendly chassis and wide lens selection are designed to blend into residential room designs rather than dominate them.
Event details
Alongside the Magnolia II demo room, ASCENDO and Trinnov will also run a 2.1-channel display in Audio Advice’s upstairs lobby, featuring the ASCENDO flagship BLACK SWAN loudspeakers in a Carbon finish and THE28 SUB SQUARED alongside a Trinnov AltitudeCI and Amplitude16. Audio Advice Live 2026 takes place 7-9 August 2026 at the Sheraton Hotel in Raleigh, North Carolina, bringing together manufacturers, integrators and enthusiasts for three days of demonstrations and seminars on home theater, premium audio and smart home technology.
The ASCENDO Trinnov Christie showcase follows a wider pattern of manufacturer collaborations at recent US high-end audio events, including Revival Audio’s flagship demonstrations at High End Vienna earlier this year. Full details on the Magnolia II room and registration are available via ASCENDO’s official site.
