The AudioSolutions Overture G4 (Generation 4) is a new loudspeaker range from the Lithuanian manufacturer, replacing its outgoing O3xx series. The Vilnius-based brand says the redesign is intended to bring technologies from its higher-tier Figaro Mk2 and Virtuoso ranges down into its more accessible Overture line, so a buyer stepping into the entry point of the AudioSolutions catalogue now gets hardware that traces directly back to the company’s flagship engineering.
A Box-in-Box cabinet borrowed from the flagship ranges
The Overture G4 is built around a dual-layer, damped Box-in-Box cabinet design inherited from the Figaro Mk2 and Virtuoso series. AudioSolutions says the construction is intended to reduce cabinet resonance, a key contributor to coloration in lesser-braced enclosures. The front baffle has also been re-proportioned in the style of the Figaro range, with changes aimed at addressing acoustic baffle diffraction around the drivers, a detail that previously only appeared on AudioSolutions’ pricier models.
A Figaro-derived tweeter and revised crossover
Where the outgoing O3xx generation used its own tweeter, the Overture G4 switches to a Figaro-derived unit, with the crossover point raised as part of the redesign. AudioSolutions says the change is intended to improve transient response, spatial imaging and micro-detail retrieval, bringing the Overture range’s presentation closer to that of its pricier siblings. Company founder and chief designer Gediminas Gaidelis said the goal was to carry technologies from the Figaro Mk2 and Virtuoso ranges into Overture while retaining the performance character associated with the original Figaro Mk1.
A unified voicing across the AudioSolutions range
AudioSolutions says the Overture G4 has been designed to share the same tonal balance, voicing and musical character found across its entire speaker range, from the Overture entry point through to its flagship Figaro and Virtuoso models. The Overture G4 range is also included in AudioSolutions’ online product configurator, which offers custom finish options, real-time 3D visual previews and bespoke configuration choices, letting buyers match a pair to their room before ordering.
