Triangle Solstice is the French loudspeaker manufacturer’s new mid-range family, positioned as the successor to the well-regarded ESPRIT series. The range comprises three models — the Solstice 8 floorstander, Solstice 3 bookshelf speaker and Solstice C3 center channel — each built around a newly developed horn tweeter and a reinforced cabinet structure aimed at delivering what Triangle calls “emotion and musical authenticity” at an accessible price point.

A new horn tweeter at the core of Triangle Solstice
The headline technical development across the Triangle Solstice range is the new TZ2540MG horn-loaded tweeter. Triangle redesigned the horn with a “barrel-shaped” compression profile that smooths the frequency response and improves integration with the midrange driver, paired with a new single-piece, injection-moulded phase plug that spreads high frequencies more evenly across the listening area.
According to Triangle, the goal was deep, controlled bass paired with clear vocal reproduction and finely detailed highs that avoid listener fatigue — a signature the brand describes as capable of conveying both the intensity of an orchestra and the delicacy of a single voice.
DVAS cabinet architecture
Structural rigidity was another priority. Triangle’s DVAS architecture integrates the drivers directly into the cabinet structure to control the transfer of mechanical energy, while high-density MDF panels limit resonance and unwanted coloration. Rounded cabinet edges reduce diffraction effects and promote more even sound dispersion through the room. The three-model line-up is built to work equally well as a stereo hi-fi pair or as the backbone of a full home cinema setup, with the Solstice C3 center channel matched tonally to the Solstice 8 and Solstice 3 for consistent dialogue and effects reproduction.

Pricing and availability
The Triangle Solstice range is available now in four finishes — Teak, Birch, White and Black Ash — each with a vertical wood-grain veneer. The Solstice 8 floorstanding speaker is priced at EUR 1,999 per pair, the Solstice 3 bookshelf speaker at EUR 999 per pair, and the Solstice C3 center channel at EUR 575 each. Triangle also offers the dedicated S05 stand for the Solstice 3, designed to match the speaker’s base for optimal stability and matched in the same finish options.
