The TN-400BT X/TB retains all the performance strengths that have made the TN-400BT series a favorite among vinyl enthusiasts, while introducing a vibrant new aesthetic crafted from high-density MDF for exceptional rigidity and vibration damping. The Turquoise Blue gloss lacquer cabinet is complemented by precision-machined aluminum knobs, gold-plated RCA terminals, and floating decoupled feet, creating a turntable that is as visually striking as it is sonically capable.
Belt-drive system
At the heart of the design is a belt-drive system powered by a DC motor, driving a high-inertia aluminum die-cast platter at 33⅓, 45, and 78 rpm. A low-friction spindle with brass bearing ensures stable rotational accuracy (wow & flutter ≤0.2%), while the S-shaped static-balanced tonearm—with adjustable counterweight, anti-skating, and gold-plated universal headshell contacts—delivers precise tracking and natural analog reproduction. An Audio-Technica AT95E moving magnet cartridge comes pre-installed, allowing users to start enjoying their vinyl collection immediately.
Bluetooth 5.2 transmitter
A standout feature is the built-in Bluetooth 5.2 transmitter, supporting Qualcomm aptX Adaptive, aptX, and SBC codecs for high-quality, low-latency wireless streaming to compatible headphones and speakers.
