Samsung Electronics has officially announced that its entire 2026 OLED TV lineup and next-generation Odyssey gaming monitors are now NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible, marking a significant step forward in delivering tear-free, ultra-smooth gaming experiences for PC gamers and enthusiasts.
NVIDIA G-SYNC technology synchronizes the display’s refresh rate with the frame output from an NVIDIA GeForce GPU, eliminating screen tearing, minimizing stuttering, and reducing input lag for buttery-smooth gameplay. This certification applies to key models in Samsung’s premium 2026 OLED TV series—including the flagship S99H, S95H, S90H, and S85H—as well as the latest Odyssey G6 gaming monitors (G60H and G61SH).
“Our goal is simple: to deliver an exceptional gaming experience anytime, anywhere, no matter what you play,” said Kevin Lee, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. “With these new innovations in OLED TVs and gaming monitors, we’re bringing more power, precision, and immersion to every type of player.”
Pushing Speed Limits with the Odyssey G6 Series
Leading the charge on the monitor front is the 27-inch Odyssey G6 (model G60H), which sets an industry benchmark as Samsung’s first display to reach a staggering 1,040 Hz refresh rate in Dual Mode operation. Gamers can switch between ultra-high frame rates at HD resolution for hyper-competitive play or native QHD performance up to 600 Hz, offering unmatched clarity, speed, and responsiveness.
For those seeking a balance between blistering performance and cinematic visuals, the 27-inch Odyssey G6 (model G61SH) features a stunning QD-OLED panel with QHD resolution and a 240 Hz refresh rate. It delivers rich contrast, vibrant colors, and responsive gameplay, backed by an ultra-fast 0.03 ms GtG response time and HDR10+ GAMING support. Both G6 models are fully G-SYNC Compatible, ensuring seamless, tear-free performance regardless of whether players prioritize extreme frame rates, high resolution, or a mix of both.
Next-Gen OLED TVs Built for High-Performance Gaming
Samsung’s 2026 OLED TVs are engineered with serious gamers in mind. The S99H, S95H, and S90H support refresh rates up to 165 Hz, while the S85H reaches 120 Hz—enabling fluid motion and low-latency gameplay on PC and console platforms. Alongside G-SYNC compatibility, the lineup also supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro for versatile, stable HDR gaming across ecosystems.
Enhancing the viewing experience further, Samsung introduces HDR10+ ADVANCED across the series, an next-generation HDR format that boosts brightness, contrast, motion smoothness, and color accuracy for all content types. Premium models (S99H, S95H, and S90H) incorporate Samsung’s advanced Glare Free technology, which significantly reduces reflections without compromising the signature OLED picture quality—ideal for bright rooms or daytime sessions.
