A New Era of Smart Living

Cheolgi Kim, Executive Vice President and Head of Digital Appliances at Samsung, stated, “At Samsung, we don’t just imagine the future of AI; we integrate it into everyday life. Samsung’s AI Home goes beyond smart products, creating a living environment that adapts to your routines, meets your needs, and enhances your life.” This vision marks the beginning of a new era where technology supports users effortlessly in the background, allowing them to focus on what matters most.

Samsung’s AI Home experience is designed to make daily life more convenient, efficient, healthier, and safer. According to Samsung’s research, 66% of consumers find the concept of an AI-driven home appealing, with 44% valuing streamlined daily tasks and 45% seeking greater control via smartphones or voice commands. Through SmartThings, Samsung’s AI Home automates routines like lighting, temperature, and even syncing blinds with weather conditions, simplifying modern living.

Enhancing Wellness and Social Connections

The research also revealed that 93% of consumers view their home as a sanctuary, and 80% consider it the heart of their social lives. As families spend more time together, AI Home enhances shared moments with features like wellness checks, personalized sleep settings, and tailored meal planning, fostering a more connected and comfortable home environment.

Energy Efficiency and Cost Savings

Energy efficiency is a key benefit of AI-driven homes, with 66% of consumers believing AI can help monitor costs and save money. Samsung’s AI Home, powered by SmartThings Energy, can reduce washing machine energy consumption by up to 70%, offering significant savings and sustainability benefits.

Prioritizing Security

Security remains a top priority, with 40% of consumers expecting AI to enhance home protection through timely alerts. Samsung’s Knox Vault secures sensitive data at the hardware level, while Knox Matrix extends ecosystem-wide protection to connected devices, ensuring robust security across the AI Home.

Bespoke AI: Elevating Home Appliances

Samsung’s latest Bespoke AI appliances push the boundaries of smart home technology, enhancing the living experience in kitchens and beyond:

  • Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra: An upgraded robot vacuum with advanced AI Object Recognition, capable of detecting liquids, including transparent ones, for a smarter clean.

  • Bespoke AI Washer: Features AI Wash+ for a tailored laundry experience, achieving 65% better performance than the minimum threshold for A-class energy efficiency.

  • Bespoke AI Dishwasher: Equipped with AI Wash to optimize cleaning based on dish dirtiness, with an Auto Open Door feature to speed up drying.

Vision AI: Redefining Home Entertainment

Samsung’s Vision AI Companion reimagines home entertainment by acting as a natural, human-like interface. Designed as an open platform, it strengthens partnerships with global AI leaders like Google, Microsoft, and Perplexity. Key highlights include:

  • Micro RGB: A 115-inch display delivering cinema-quality visuals with vibrant colors and stunning depth.

  • The Movingstyle: A portable touchscreen TV with a built-in battery, adaptive AI, and a floor stand, ideal for any room or on-the-go use.

  • Samsung Sound Tower: A powerful, portable Bluetooth speaker with an 18-hour battery life and customizable lighting and sound effects via a dedicated app.

Galaxy AI: Expanding to New Devices

Since its debut with the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy AI has set the stage for mobile AI innovation, with plans to reach over 200 million devices in 2024. By the end of 2025, Samsung aims to expand Galaxy AI to over 400 million devices worldwide, delivering seamless, multimodal experiences across a wider range of products.

Experience Future Living at IFA 2025

Samsung’s IFA 2025 exhibition, held from September 5 to 9 at CityCube Berlin, showcased these innovations alongside a stunning 50-meter-wide digital art installation created with renowned digital artist Maotik. Themed “wind,” the installation visualizes dynamic data waves, symbolizing how Samsung’s AI technology enhances everyday life. Samsung’s “AI Home: Future Living, Now” vision at IFA 2025 demonstrates its commitment to making AI accessible, practical, and transformative, bringing the future of smart living to homes worldwide.
