Samsung Odyssey G8 and ViewFinity S8 Lineup Now Available
Samsung Electronics has officially launched its 2026 monitor lineup in the Benelux region. The new collection includes advanced Odyssey G8 gaming monitors — featuring the world’s first 6K gaming display — alongside the Odyssey G7 OLED series and the productivity-focused ViewFinity S8 lineup.
This release reinforces Samsung’s dominant position in the global gaming monitor market, where it currently holds an 18.9% market share. Samsung also leads the OLED gaming monitor segment for the third consecutive year with a 26% share, according to International Data Corporation (IDC).
Odyssey G8: Raising the Bar with 6K Gaming Performance
The flagship of the new range is the 32-inch Odyssey G8 (G80HS), the industry’s first 6K gaming monitor. It delivers stunning 6K resolution at 165Hz, with Dual Mode support for 3K resolution at up to 330Hz. This flexibility allows gamers to choose between maximum visual detail or ultra-high frame rates depending on the game.

Samsung is expanding access to its OLED technology with the Odyssey OLED G8 (G80SH), available in both 27-inch and 32-inch sizes. These models feature 4K resolution at 240Hz, Glare Free technology, and the latest QD-OLED Penta Tandem panel for improved brightness, efficiency, and longevity.
The 32-inch variant has earned VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification. Connectivity highlights include USB-C with up to 98W power delivery, making these monitors excellent for powerful gaming setups.
Odyssey G7: OLED Gaming Made More Accessible
The 32-inch Odyssey OLED G7 (G73SH) brings high-performance OLED to a broader audience. It offers 4K at 165Hz with Dual Mode support for FHD at up to 330Hz, a lightning-fast 0.03ms response time, and excellent motion clarity for competitive play.
ViewFinity S8: Professional-Grade Productivity Monitors
Designed for creators, professionals, and multitaskers, the ViewFinity S8 series combines high resolution, advanced connectivity, and ergonomic design.
- The 40-inch ViewFinity S8 (S85TH) features a curved WUHD panel with 144Hz refresh rate, Thunderbolt 5 (80 Gbps), and up to 140W device charging.
- The 27-inch ViewFinity S8 (S80HF) delivers sharp 5K resolution with USB-C connectivity and excellent ergonomics for long work sessions.
