Epson has priced its Lifestudio Flex Plus EF-72 for Belgium at €1.361,24, bringing the brand’s most premium portable projector to the local market a year after its US debut. The Epson Lifestudio Flex Plus EF-72 combines 4K PRO-UHD visuals with a custom stereo system co-engineered with Bose, positioning it as a single, sofa-friendly box that replaces a TV, soundbar and streaming stick in one go.

Where most portable projectors still look like scaled-down office equipment, the Epson Lifestudio Flex Plus EF-72 leans hard into living-room design: a metallic silver base topped with an oak-finish panel, sitting on a stand that tilts and swivels 180 degrees, with ambient LED lighting underneath to set the mood before the picture even starts. Bright 4K Visuals, No Extra Speakers Needed

At the core of the Epson Lifestudio Flex Plus EF-72 is Epson’s 3-chip 3LCD Triple Core Engine paired with an RGB-LED light source, delivering 1,000 lumens of both white and colour brightness for genuinely vivid images with no rainbow effect, even in a lit room. The 4K PRO-UHD system shifts each pixel to double the resolution of the native 1080p chip, projecting anywhere from 30 to 150 inches with a contrast ratio Epson rates above 5,000,000:1. On the audio side, Sound by Bose and Dolby Audio processing drive a 5W+5W stereo system with dual passive radiators, and the projector doubles as a standalone Bluetooth speaker when the picture isn’t needed at all.

Epson’s own Projection Studio app, launched alongside the Lifestudio range, adds social features on top: uploading photos and videos to the big screen, sharing a QR code so remote friends and family can drop content in, and handling basic projector controls from a phone instead of hunting for a remote.
