What makes the EMT JSD twenty special
The EMT JSD twenty mounts the legendary Gyger-S diamond on a ruby cantilever, connected to the multi-layer coil-former via a precision titanium component. A 24-karat gold coil delivers what EMT describes as a clear and warm sound, complemented by a body with several gold-plated bronze inlays. The supporting structure is coated in a process that takes several days, resulting in an exclusive Royal Ruby finish. Each EMT JSD twenty cartridge is individually numbered as part of the 100-unit limited run.
The EMT JSD twenty uses an AlNiCo magnet, gold-plated, inside an aluminium/bronze sandwich body, with a 1/2-inch 4-pin mounting standard shared with other EMT and standard-mount cartridges. Output voltage is rated at 1 mV at 5 cm/s, with a compliance of 12 µm/mN and a frequency response spanning 20 Hz to 30 kHz.
