Innovative Enclosure Design for Vibration and Interference Control
At the heart of the Axxess Switch’s performance lies its unique enclosure, crafted from a milled natural-based composite interior housed within an external lacquered steel frame. This hybrid construction strikes an optimal balance between structural rigidity and resonance management. The steel frame effectively shields against mechanical vibrations and electromagnetic interference, while the composite material internally grounds residual oscillations, preventing them from coloring the audio signal.
The device’s underside features four recessed discs compatible with optional Ansuz Darkz or Axxess NOIR anti-vibration feet, which convert unwanted vibrations into heat. Additionally, the top cover includes semi-spherical cavities engineered to securely support stacked Axxess components, further enhancing overall system synergy and resonance control.
Advanced Power Supply Inspired by Aavik Technology
Borrowing from Aavik’s acclaimed “resonant mode power supply” topology, the Axxess Switch delivers higher operating frequencies and elevated peak power capability to meet the dynamic demands of music reproduction. Despite its high-power potential, the design maintains an exceptionally low noise floor, achieved through ultra-low-noise regulation circuits that power individual sections of the internal electronics.

The Axxess Switch offers five RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mbps) and requires Cat5 or higher-rated cabling for optimal performance. Blue and green/orange LED indicators provide clear status feedback for power and link/activity. The unit measures 76 x 326 x 341 mm (3 x 12.8 x 13.4 inches) and weighs 6.65 kg (14.66 lbs), with universal 100–240V AC input compatibility.
A special Axxess Switch SE variant incorporates two Anti-Aerial Resonance Coils for even greater airborne noise suppression, catering to the most discerning systems.
