In a move that’s sure to excite high-end audio enthusiasts, Forte Distribution has unveiled plans to bring Eversolo’s flagship DAC-Z10 to the U.S. market this December. Priced at a competitive $1,980 SRP, this all-in-one DAC/preamplifier/headphone amplifier promises to redefine signal purity and sonic detail, blending cutting-edge engineering with Eversolo’s signature focus on uncompromised playback.
At the heart of the DAC-Z10 lies Eversolo’s proprietary Fully Isolated Architecture (FIATM), a design philosophy that meticulously separates digital and analog domains to eliminate interference and safeguard signal integrity. This isn’t just isolation—it’s a full-spectrum approach that reconstructs the audio path with surgical precision, breathing new life into both live recordings and studio masters. Whether you’re spinning high-res files or streaming wirelessly, the result is a refined, interference-free experience that lets the music shine.
Powering this isolation are dual AKM decoding modules, each channel dedicated to its own AK4191 modulator and AK4499 DAC chipset. This dual-mono configuration extends from input to output, boosting channel separation, dynamic range, and overall resolution. AKM’s renowned “velvet sound” architecture delivers audiophile-grade performance: an astonishingly low total harmonic distortion plus noise (THD+N) of just 0.00008% and a dynamic range stretching to 130dB—even at maximum resolution. It’s the kind of spec sheet that turns heads in the high-end world, ensuring every nuance, from the subtlest whisper to the thunderous crescendo, is rendered with effortless clarity.
Eversolo didn’t stop at the core DAC; the internal layout incorporates three independent linear power supplies—one each for the left and right channels, plus a dedicated one for system circuitry. This segregated power delivery carves out a more expansive soundstage and pinpoint stereo imaging, making the DAC-Z10 a sonic scalpel in a market full of blunt instruments.
For headphone aficionados, the integrated amplifier is a standout. It automatically detects headphone impedance and fine-tunes gain accordingly, pumping out up to 1 watt into both 16-ohm and 32-ohm loads. This versatility makes it a seamless partner for demanding dynamic drivers or power-hungry planar magnetics, all without a hint of audible distortion. Plug in your favorites, and let the DAC-Z10 handle the heavy lifting.
Connectivity is another feather in the DAC-Z10’s cap, offering a veritable feast of options to suit any setup: USB Audio, dual coaxial, dual optical, I2S, AES/EBU, and HDMI ARC/eARC. A robust multi-core processor handles DSD512 Native and PCM up to 768 kHz/32-bit with lossless finesse, while the HDMI I2S input boasts eight user-selectable modes for broad compatibility across brands. To keep things pristine, every input is electrically isolated, banishing ground loop hums and ensuring the cleanest signal path possible. And for wireless convenience, Qualcomm’s QCC5125 Bluetooth module supports high-resolution streaming from low-voltage devices like smartphones and tablets, maintaining signal strength where lesser systems falter.
The DAC-Z10 takes Eversolo’s product selection to a new and much higher level, enthused Roger Fortier, VP and Director of Sales at Forte Distribution, Eversolo’s U.S. distributor. Much of its design was conceived and developed in-house, giving Eversolo complete control over its creation. It’s the perfect match for their recently introduced T8 transport.
As Eversolo continues to climb the ranks of digital audio innovators, the DAC-Z10 arrives not just as a product, but as a statement—one that pairs beautifully with the brand’s T8 transport for a fully optimized high-end chain. U.S. availability kicks off in December through Forte Distribution’s network of authorized dealers.
