XGIMI has introduced the XGIMI Elfin Flip 4K, a portable RGB triple-laser projector built around the brand’s signature flip-handle design and priced at just €999. The projector pairs native 4K resolution with laser-driven brightness and built-in smart TV software, positioning it as an all-in-one home cinema for rooms too small, or too flexible, for a fixed installation. It arrives alongside a second, laser-only sibling in the same Flip family, but the 4K version is the one aimed squarely at buyers who want a genuine big-screen picture without a permanent setup.
The XGIMI Elfin Flip 4K’s RGB Triple Laser Engine
At the core of the projector is a high-performance RGB triple laser light source, rated at 1600 ISO Lumens with a dynamic contrast ratio of 20,000:1 when Dynamic Black Level Enhancement is switched on. XGIMI says the laser engine delivers richer color volume and deeper black levels than the LED sources used in many portable projectors this size, while keeping the unit compact enough to move between rooms. A flexible 0.98-1.3:1 optical zoom lets the projector adapt its throw distance to different spaces without sacrificing image clarity, so the same unit can fill a large living-room wall one evening and a smaller bedroom screen the next.

A Flip-Handle Design Built for Placement
True to its name, the XGIMI Elfin Flip 4K carries over the looped handle first seen on earlier Elfin models, letting the projector be angled, hung or repositioned by hand rather than relying solely on a tripod or ceiling mount. At 1.55 kg and 254 x 245 x 78 mm, it is light enough to carry between rooms, and the handle doubles as a stand that tilts the lens upward or downward depending on where the unit is placed, whether that’s propped on a shelf, a coffee table or the floor.

Harman Kardon Audio, Google TV and Low-Latency Gaming
The XGIMI Elfin Flip 4K ships with Harman Kardon-tuned speakers and Google TV built in, giving it direct access to major streaming apps the moment it’s switched on, with no external media player required. XGIMI has also tuned the projector for gaming, quoting input latency as low as 1ms alongside support for VRR and ALLM, so fast-paced titles stay responsive when it’s used as a temporary big-screen monitor. Wireless connectivity covers WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, and the projector remains part of the same casting ecosystem XGIMI first introduced on models such as the Ascend and Auro2, shown at CES 2025.

Pricing and availability
The XGIMI Elfin Flip 4K is available now through XGIMI’s European store at €999, with shipping beginning within one to three days of ordering.
