Every VPI Avenger Direct ships with the JMW-12 Fatboy Gimbal tonearm, a full gimbal-bearing design with a 300mm pivot-to-spindle distance and internal Nordost Reference wire, a combination VPI has refined over several generations of the Fatboy design. Effective length is 313mm, effective mass is 12.5g, overhang is 13mm, and offset angle is 17.37 degrees, with average RMS distortion rated at 0.267 percent.
