The “High End” moved from Munich to Vienna this year, a big step for organizers “High End Society”. Here’s our next video report!
Bill McKiegan walks us through his system at room Level 1, L1, L2 & L3 at High End Vienna 2026.
Momentum Z: A New Approach to Impedance
Earlier in 2026, Dan D’Agostino Master Audio Systems introduced the Momentum Z amplifier — “Z” referring both to the last letter of the alphabet and to electrical impedance. The new circuit topology reworks how components interact with each other, paired here with a brand-new companion preamplifier, the Momentum C2Z, an upgrade of the original C2.
The Relentless Z Series and New Power Figures
Also new at the show: the Relentless Z preamplifier, the Relentless Z800 and the Relentless Epic 1600Z. The new Z circuit topology increases output: the Relentless 800 now delivers 1,200 watts into 8 ohms, and the Epic 1600 now reaches 2,200 watts. The reference system on display pairs the Relentless preamplifier with Z-series amplifiers — 1600s driving the main speakers and 800s on subwoofer duty.
Introducing the Progression NEO Series
Dan D’Agostino also unveiled a full refresh of its Progression range under the new NEO name, including a Progression NEO preamplifier, a Progression NEO stereo amplifier and, running live in the system, Progression NEO mono amplifiers.
A Flagship Display for Vienna
The brand’s Vienna stand — nicknamed “the city” internally for its size — houses a gigantic display space spanning several rooms (L1, L2 and L3), showcasing both the Momentum Z and Progression NEO lines together.
