HARMAN Luxury Audio Group has named Audio Solutions, the Indianapolis retailer that has served Midwest audio enthusiasts since 2000, as the newest dealer to carry the complete JBL Summit Series, the brand’s newly finished five-model line of ultra-high-performance loudspeakers. The models are already on display and playing in the Indianapolis showroom, ready for customers to audition.
A Showroom Built Around Everest
Audio Solutions started in 2000 as a father-and-son business and has grown into one of the Midwest’s largest high-end audio showrooms, with four dedicated listening rooms and a home cinema built for critical auditioning. The retailer has carried JBL’s Everest name since the DD66000 generation, long after the lineage itself began with the original Project Everest in 1985, and Summit Everest now marks the third generation of Everest loudspeakers the store has sold. Summit K2, Summit Makalu, Summit Pumori and Summit Ama join Everest at Audio Solutions for the first time, making it one of a select few dealers nationwide authorized to carry the full five-model JBL Summit Series lineup.

Five Models, One Himalayan Family
Every model in the JBL Summit Series takes its name from a Himalayan peak. Summit Everest, the flagship, is a 3.5-way, dual 15-inch floor-stander with three 2-inch dual-motor compression drivers, dual 10-inch cast-frame mid-bass drivers and a pair of 15-inch Differential Drive woofers. Summit K2 follows as a 3-way 15-inch floor-stander, while Summit Makalu and Summit Pumori scale the format down to 12-inch and 10-inch floor-standers respectively. Summit Ama rounds out the lineup as a 2-way stand-mount design. Across the range, JBL uses its Sonoglass HDI horn, a triple-layer HC4 composite cone of carbon fiber and pulp, a MultiCap crossover network, carbon-fiber-wrapped rhodium-plated binding posts and IsoAcoustics isolation feet, all housed in heavily braced cabinets finished to furniture-grade standards.

Why Audio Solutions
“Very few dealers anywhere in the country can say they’ve sold three generations of JBL’s Everest flagship, going back to the DD66000,” said Jerry Calder, Sales Director at HARMAN Luxury Audio Group, in the announcement. Graham Lundeen, owner of Audio Solutions, said the JBL Summit Series fits the showroom’s focus on generational craftsmanship: “These speakers are world-class, and they deliver the performance our customers demand.” Press interested in scheduling a listening session can contact Audio Solutions manager Victor Gazarek directly.
A Flagship Line, Widening Slowly
HARMAN has kept the JBL Summit Series to a short list of authorized dealers rather than a broad rollout, positioning each new addition as a notable step for the brand’s flagship loudspeaker line. The series completed its five-model lineup only recently, after Summit Everest and Summit K2 launched as the first two entries; Summit Makalu, Summit Pumori and Summit Ama have since filled out the range beneath them. For a retailer like Audio Solutions, carrying all five models under one roof means customers can move between the flagship and its smaller siblings in the same room, rather than relying on a single reference pair to represent the whole family.
Pricing and availability
The JBL Summit Series is available now for audition at Audio Solutions in Indianapolis, with all five models, Summit Everest, Summit K2, Summit Makalu, Summit Pumori and Summit Ama, on display in the showroom. JBL has not published individual list prices for the series; interested buyers can inquire directly with the dealer or through JBL’s Summit Series product pages.
