Innuos has released Innuos Sense 26.0.0, a free system update for the operating system that powers its ZEN Mk3, PULSE, STATEMENT, ZEN Next-Gen, STREAM and Nazaré music servers and streamers. The headline additions are official Apple AirPlay 2 integration and a broad “Sense Classical Experience” overhaul aimed at listeners with large classical libraries.
What’s New in Innuos Sense 26.0.0
With Innuos Sense 26.0.0 installed, any iOS or macOS app can stream straight to an Innuos system over AirPlay 2, without a separate Innuos-specific app in the loop. The bigger change, though, is how Innuos Sense 26.0.0 treats classical music. CD ripping now pulls extra classical metadata whenever it is available, covering Work, Orchestra, Conductor, Soloists, Ensemble and Performers, and a new Album editor lets owners edit that classical metadata by hand when the automatic match is incomplete.

Composer and Work Browsing
Innuos Sense 26.0.0 adds a dedicated Works section on every composer’s page, listing every work by that composer in the library, plus a new Work page that gathers all available releases of a given piece. The Now Playing screen displays the composer and work of the current movement when that data is available, and the album online search now returns classical metadata with a matching score, so an owner can choose to replace or merge it with what is already tagged. Favourite Qobuz albums carry the same classical metadata, including Work, Conductor, Orchestra, Soloists, Ensemble and Performers. None of this is a one-off: Innuos Sense 26.0.0 keeps enriching classical metadata automatically during full library rescans and CD ripping, and existing files can be brought up to date with a rescan.

Streaming, Output and Smaller Fixes
Beyond classical playback, Innuos Sense 26.0.0 introduces a per-DAC output gain setting in Settings > Audio, letting owners narrow the software volume range when a system feeds power amplifiers or active speakers directly. Qobuz and TIDAL playlists now update live as tracks are added while a playlist is open, with duplicate checking on Qobuz playlists and an ‘Explicit’ content label on Qobuz and TIDAL albums and tracks. Cover art and metadata now also display for streaming services when an external streamer uses Squeezelite support. On the fix side, Innuos resolved missing artist artwork and biographies, a corrupted-download failure in Roon standalone mode, duplicate artist entries from inconsistent name matching, albums not saving correctly to local playlists, and an empty Third-party Software page under System > Settings > About.

Owners can check for and install Innuos Sense 26.0.0 from the Sense dashboard under SYSTEM > SETTINGS > System Update, or wait for the automatic notification in the System Events area of the HOME tab. The full changelog is also posted on the Innuos Community Forum, alongside the step-by-step Innuos Nazaré coverage already on the site.
Pricing and availability
Innuos Sense 26.0.0 is a free update, available now for ZEN Mk3, PULSE, STATEMENT, ZEN Next-Gen, STREAM and Nazaré systems with an internet connection; a direct Ethernet connection is recommended for the most reliable install.
