Cyrus Audio has launched the Cyrus 80 AMP, the British brand’s first full-width integrated amplifier. Where Cyrus has traditionally built its reputation on compact, half-width separates, the Cyrus 80 AMP doubles the footprint to make room for a substantially more powerful amp section, a comprehensive streaming platform and a wide array of connectivity, all in a single, all-in-one chassis.
At the heart of the Cyrus 80 AMP is a 150-watt-per-channel Class A/B amplifier, paired with a fully customised ESS Sabre ES9039Q2M DAC and HyperStream IV Dual DAC technology. Cyrus says every component in the digital section has been individually analysed and the board layout optimised specifically to extract the highest possible performance from the chipset, supporting lossless playback up to 24-bit/192kHz and DSD256, well beyond CD-quality resolution. That level of attention to the digital chain is a deliberate statement from Cyrus: the 80 AMP is meant to sound like a genuine step up from the brand’s existing amplifiers, not simply a bigger box with more inputs.
A Streaming Powerhouse Built Around BluOS

The Cyrus 80 AMP is built around the award-winning BluOS streaming platform, giving access to major streaming services, internet radio and locally stored libraries through a single control app for iOS, Android, Mac or PC. Built-in WiFi, Apple AirPlay 2, Roon Ready certification and MQA decoding round out a streaming feature set aimed at listeners who want one box to handle everything from casual listening to serious multiroom setups.
Room to Grow: Full-Width Design and Vinyl-Ready Connectivity

The extra chassis space also makes room for a dedicated MM/MC phono input, so a turntable can be connected directly without an outboard phono preamp — a detail vinyl-focused listeners will appreciate — alongside four analogue inputs, two digital optical and two digital coaxial inputs, an asynchronous USB-B input and balanced XLR inputs and outputs. An HDMI eARC input lets the Cyrus 80 AMP double as the hub for a television’s audio, while a built-in headphone amplifier and a 5-inch full-colour TFT display round out the feature list.
Built for Every Source

Cyrus positions the 80 AMP as the more accessible, streamlined entry point into its new 80 Series, sitting alongside the separate 80 PRE preamplifier and 80 PWR power amplifier launched earlier in 2026. For listeners who want the sound quality of Cyrus’s separates philosophy without the complexity of running multiple boxes, the Cyrus 80 AMP is pitched as the all-in-one alternative for a living room where space, or patience for cabling, is limited. Anyone who has followed the brand’s recent Cyrus 40 AMP integrated amplifier will recognise the same design philosophy scaled up into a larger, more powerful package.
